Astana aren't stupid. he wouldn't bring anything to the team.

Also Riis said that CSC isnt looking for superstars, because he likes the ones he has. They are looking for talents and helpers.
He is going to need them since he loses his biggest Grand Tour helper in Vande Velde at the end of the season.

Haha, Vandevelde? It's not like he was the last man to protect the captains. He's good, for sure, but he's definitely replaceable. |

Well, they are maybe looking for talents, but they aren't signing them! There are two riders signed out of CSC an noone in. Troels Winter or Niki Ostergard would be good choices.
I just found young czech rider Marek Benda he's only 17 and already won a stage on GP RĂ¼bieland (cat. 1. HC junior) and finished 3rd overall. But there's possibility he won't turn pro due to silliness of Czech cycling federation, which isn't supporting young guns like Benda. I wish I could live somewhere else (like in Pais vasco) |

But It's quite small and there are often strong winds, but nothing can challenge the Soler Climb (Now I see the similarity between Mauricio from Barloworld and most famous climb on Mallorca :-) ). |

Quite one-specialized nation are the Norwegians - Sprinters who are also good at TT and cobblestone races. Meaning Kaggestad, Hushov, Boasson Hagen.... |

Well, you are from Eastern blog too, so you must remember Course de la Paix, or Zavod Miru in our language. There were very strange nations, like Romania (jut joking), Bulgary and even Mongolia!!! |
