Um.. what?
I point you to performances like in the Eneco Tour 2007 or in the Tour 2007 where in the mountains he took to the front of the peleton for Saunier and his tempo dropped a whole load of riders.
I entirely agree but
The mountains of the Eneco Tour?

he means the very small and not so tough hills of the Eneco. still, he did pretty well there.

Contador has now stated that he may withdraw from the Giro after the time trial (10th stage). If he's still up in the classement, he will stay - if his form is not good enough for a top spot, he will withdraw. |

Todays stage will be 33km shorter than expected, the riders complained about fatigue due to the big amount of travelling from sicily to the main land and between stages.
It was supposed to be the longest stage of the giro today(265km).
*edit: and with 234km it still is the longest

So they are basically not doing the last lap in that finish town?
Always liked those stages with "classic" length in the giro. Thats why the giro is so unique.
Lets hope the tempo will make this stage tough enough |

Backstedt is a pure powerhouse!
Away from the breakaway without even getting out of the saddle.
