Funny. I'm playing with new patch and I was able to race Tour de l'Avenir. And won first mountain stage, my first victory of the career! 
I only fear I'm really stuck with 62 flat and will need to start another career. |

Do anyone know how to add races to the calendar? For example, I play for one team in Portugal and I wanted to play "Volta a Portugal" which is the most important race for that team but they appear not to be in that race. Is there any way to play it? Thank you |

This mode is great. Being the shallow poppet I am, I am most delighted to be able to look over my shoulder, just like the riders I shout at on TV.
One problem is that the British Tour Series thing isn't in the game, which leaves my Raleigh sprinter struggling for race time. Raleigh have less than 30 race days scheduled, in fact. I don't know if things are as bad for other UK Conti teams. Means I'm more likely to make it into multiple seasons though.

I highly doubt you're stuck with a low flat stat. I am sure that with some focusing, you can bring it up to around 70 at least, without much problem.

Yeah, I've just gained another level and +2 flat, so I'm more relaxed now.
It's strange thing, though, how having only baroudeur type of training I gained only 2 points in flat, while 3 points in mountain at the same time. And around 6 points in stamina, recovery etc. |

While I can't know for sure, I think it's random, with an increased chance of the stat going up if you're training for that role or picked that role as your ridertype.

It's a bit random, but not completely.
Much like training in the previous editions, those arrows only indicate what extra training you get. But like in previous editions, even if you train someone in stage racing, all stats eventually raise. |

I can no longer control the trajectory of my rider. When I press the side arrows on the number pad it just move to another rider. Why is this ? |

What is your setting for frequency of falls? I am trying to make it as realistic as possible so i was at 170 % but i think mass crashes are too often then. So I lowered it to 150. What is your opinion ? |

I find it annoying I still can't race HC races despite being 73 MO, 71 HI, REC and TT only because I haven't won anything bar Tour de l'Avenir points jersey and stage so far. Plenty of riders with worse stats than me rode multiple GTs in their career in real life (in PCM perhaps too), let alone HC races.
And I lost something like 7 or 8 places in GC in Etoile de Bessèges because sprint train rode away from the peloton 4 kms to go and made 1:20 gap. I rode to 3rd in the final ITT but only finished 11th overall because of that.
