Mollema to Trek
Question is now who of Mollema and Zubeldia is able to ride the most anonymous top-10 next year. My bet is still on Zubeldia! |

What's wrong with being anonymous? |

Slovakian leading sports journal Å port has reported that Sagan to Saxo is done deal and everything should be announced on Thursday. Part of the news is also Basso going same way.
Hard to tell how reliable it is, but the papers are well known.

I did see talk of Ivan Basso having also left Cannondale from the usual trusted sources on Twitter, so who knows.

It's Basso, Peter Sagan and his brother, Juraj, have all reportedly signed with Tinkoff. |

They already have Garmin-Cannondale listed as one team.

According to Tinkoff-Saxo no deal have been made with Sagan and the announced news coming the 7th and 9th have nothing to do with Sagan.

I think he should make his decision based on what support will he get in races he will target. Cannondale and Alonso should be able to fully support him (just we don't know if they can bring some valuable helpers for him for next season), while Astana and Tinkoff would obviously more focus on GC in Tour, which may end like Cav's year at Sky. Ofc Sagan is more independent than Cav.
Cav likes to have strong and dedicated team around him..but he can also manage alone at the sprint. Done that many times
I meant that Cav's and Sky GC ambitions' conflict of interest caused him to leave, Sagan could most likely cope better in such situation, but I still think a strong dedicated team is what he really needa to win TdF stages for example.

Still, guys like Rogers or Majka can help better both Contador and Sagan than for example Marino or King can help Sagan...

Ofc, I just wonder how they will split the support to keep both leaders happy. At Sky Tour 2012 there was particular stage when Cav got caught back (in crash maybe) and nobody from the team waited for him, everybody was only concerned about GC. He later said that was the moment when he realized that there is no space in Sky for him.

And Danielson as a retiring rider after 2014, despite the fact he said last year he had a contract with Garmin for 2015.
But maybe they get rid of him because of that merge? |

Well, Cav is a prick, so that is another case.
I think everybody would expect that GC is the main target and nobody would get back for Sagan, who is anyway hunting stages and points. We will see in tour 2015, if the move will happen. I am also curious how it can be handled...

Another Point is when they are working for sagan in flat stages, they will work for Contador either.
And Cannondale is not strong enough to be a Pro-Tour team now if they do not transfer a new player like europcar.
