I agree that Barcelona can be very boring especially in regular matches against smaller teams because of the ball possesion and no chances being made before every player has touched the ball 5-10 times in defense.
So comparing Man City with Barcelona is wrong because City play attractive football.

And I disagree about City, I like them because how they play football. When the play it's almost like Barcelona at times. Don't have concern with money, nobody saying about Madrid which get money off the government at times.
You killed me with this one
When i want to see teams holding the ball for 20 minutes in the row and passing and passing at the own half as Barca do, i would rather go to see a handball match. Barcelona's game is sooo booring
At least City has SuperMario, funniest player ever...

Maybe i am retarded, but Barcelona style of football is really boring for me and not only for me as i hear in my surrounding. Lots of people probably have wet dreams about them, but that is not my case...although i admire Xavi and Iniesta for their fantastic creativity (for me the best players on earth together with CR7)

You know Mr. Arsene Wenger? There is always the other way, only not so easy as this one
If I am not mistaken - wasn't Arsenal one of top teams already when Wenger came there? I suppose so. City wasn't by miles. And I don't know any owner who will be satisfied with waiting many years for trophy if using only money from the club. |

You are right, i only wanted to point out that it is possible also in modern football, to be competitive evn without enormous spending on wages etc.
What you say about owners is right, these nomads cant be bothered by some sort of ethics. The fact, i dont like this at all, remains...
Edit: Btw. nice to see someone from south Bohemia here, i live in Trebon now

And i think that is not possible - if you are manager fe. Birmingham city and you will want to compete for top spot there is no other way than to spend and spend and spend. In Arsenal or Man Utd - there you can get players for something else than money - it is about CHL and other great players in your team. But when you start from almost zero than you are stuck there. For me - the most succesful team in building team up is Tottenham. they had to build without enormous spending and without CHL (with one exception).
Btw. I don't like the way how we were spending - it was really too much too be acceptable but I think that some spending had to be there. I hope that now it will be much cheaper and less irritating for all.
Nice city - and lovely roads for cycling - For someone as lazy as me it's ideal. flat as pancake |

There was a controversial handball by Richards that the referee didn't give a penalty... still think he did the right thing, Richards seemed to have his arm there before the contact with the ball. |

Good news? Ferguson can't be stubborn enough to let De Gea be the 1st goalie.
De Gea should be sent to a work-out room and lift some weights every day of 2012. No football, just work-out. Either that or send him back to Spain. |

WWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Win of the season! Other than a few times where Blackburn played way to cautiously on offense, I thought they played very well.
HBD Ferguson.
Edit: And if this doesn't put Cruetrue in the mood to set up the awards, I dont know what will

I know Siw well enough to know that he usually says stuff only because it's the opposite of what everyone else thinks. Therefore, because City is an absolutele disgrace to football, Siw likes the team Not that I mind - you get used to people like that with time. My little sister tends to be like that too |

The Premier League is overrated, Championship football is better. I may be biased because my team are second there though. |

Well, what a good start to 2012 - City loses to Sunderland thanks to a goal in the last second of the game
One one hand, it's annoying to know that United could quite easily have been 3 points ahead of City by now, but on the other hand, United's loss was limited due since City, Chelsea and Tottenham also missed out on all 3 points.
