could be worse, you could be NEC or PSV in current form but agree with Jesleyh and he's the perfect example of sticking with team in tough times (like in 2007 - 2011 with 2010 as exception) |

Ruud Brood fired as Roda coach. Finally, should've been done like 2 or 3 months ago. Gaining a bit of confidence now, let's see how next weeks matches against Vitesse (cup) and Ajax (league) will go

Apparently AZ can't play 3 games in a week. They played really weak today and every Heerenveen counter was a chance. Could've easily ended 1-8 or more.
Now Ajax needs to win tomorrow and they will be well on their way to a 4th title in a row. |

For the last 3 years they were far behind in the winter though. This winter championship is going to be the only championship for them this season (I think, hope)

Deserved victory for Ajax even though they didn't play very good. Roda had 2/3 good chances and score 1. Riedewald with an amazing debut, scoring 2 goals.
Finally a season where we don't have to chase and are 10+ points behind. |

I don't think you're lucky when you score 2 goals in the last 5 minutes. The match is 90 minutes + stoppage time so when you score it's fair and square. If it was an offside goal or an undeserved penalty you can say they were lucky.
In the end Ajax deserved it. Roda only defended after 1-0 and failed to score a 2nd goal through counters. Ajax should've scored much sooner but Sigthórsson missed huge chances. |

Roda played well, but just couldn't stop Ajax in the end. Must say that Dijkhuizen's goal was the best goal of the match
