Thanks all for your support...
Well,i´m not complaining about the dificulty....it´s just frustrating when you have Kiryienka and you are climbing with big dificulties and you see a rider like Noé wich was in the break(over 200kms)and is able to climb with main riders and finish ahead of my rider....that´s frustrating...he should be long time empty, just like his break mates...but like you all say....isn´t a bad Giro, unfortunally we miss sponsor goal..
Valverde is riding in Bayern Rundfahrt now, getting ready for Dauphine Liberé,where we have sponsor goal,top5....will kick off after the Giro.
About new riders....well,i didn´t thought about yet....we will have some new faces, yes, but i can´t say right now who will be....and i don´t want to disturb the riders with that now as we still have importante races up ahead...

You kept your Top 15, so not a bad result at all. And I totally understand your frustration. I've felt the same tons of times.
Now I'm looking forward to see Valverde dominating the coming races.

It's called extreme for a reason I agree with lluuiiggii though, it's not a bad Giro for you, considering the startlist. You're only one place behind Scarponi, you're in front of Menchov, with a climber like Kiriyenka that's pretty good.
This. Kiryienka did very well. Impressed that Roche held on to podium.

Nice preview of final stage.. Roche has to fight, but I think, he will defend his podium.. Garzelli won't stand a chance against Sánchez though .. but who cares?.. I'm still impressed by that huge gaps, to be honest.. Basso, Basso.. what a Giro.. Good luck for Movistar!

We have lost the 3rd place team? shame
I think Sanchez will be one of the few who win a position. I think Beñat can hold his position against DiLuca. I dont think Vasil lose his place. Sure there will be a nice fight between Pinotti, Nibali and Velits ... I think Nibali win a position. And finally, I think Roche will finish on the podium (incredible Giro of the Irish ).
We hope events
Greetings and good luck mate

Looks like Kyrienka finished relatively well here in final stage?! Anyway, like I said before: with Kyrienka and Intxausti at such a tough Giro, you can be happy about 14th and 16th in GC! Basso was a league of his own and Roche the biggest surprise, for sure.

No real changes in the overall. Just LL Sanchez and Garzelli swapped places.
In general I think you can be pretty happy with the 14th and 16th. Not totally sure about their stats right now, but this might be the maximum for them in the Giro.
Plus 2nd in the Youth, 4th in the KoM and 5th in Team ranking.
Was definitely a nice reporting of the whole Giro. |

Thanks...well,Kiryienka finished 13th in this stage...not bad as all the other riders were with average recovery and Kiry was with good recovery...

68 fitness for Valverde... will be interesting to see, if he still can reach your goal.. it's a weak startlist, so everything's possible

+1 I totally agree. I think in the end it was a great Giro for Kiry and Beñat. Good positions in all classification and good results in some stages (Marzio grazed the win, if I remember correctly)
Good luck for Germany.
Come on TEAM!
