Since the new patch the default DB option is not 100% working.
So you have to choose teh DB just before you start the career. Then it is supposed to be the PCM Daily. |

I think its the Local.cdb. If you can replace the current Local.cdb with the PCMdaily one, that should fix the problem, most likely.

It doesn't just randomly change, you must have done something. If you installed the db, and then the patch afterwards, it is likely the Local.cdb which is the problem. Which you can easily change. There should be a PCM.daily db Backup folder in you main PCM directory (program files) copy the Local.cdb from there into documents/PCM11/database (and probably also documents/pcm11/users/yourusername/database) to be sure.

I'm not sure then, but you could just install the db again. (dont un-install just click the installer and it will overwrite the stuff it needs to)
I think this happened to me and thats what solved it for me.

hello
i have the pcm daily expansion v1 installed and it is really great and works nice, but i dont have public in game. i know of the options menu and the graphics but by the dailys expansion it doesn't work.
does anybody know how i can get the public back?

Might be slightly off topic yet:
I would like to add more variants to e.g. national champs, WHILE MY GAME IS ALLREADY RUNNING (only in first season).
Does it suffice to add the stagefiles to [...]cyanide\pcm season2011\CM_stages and then adjust the descr and rules files in [...]cyanide\pcm season2011\CM_stages\variant logically? (that is making sure there are variants describe upto 2030 correctly) |

No, you need to add them manually in the save file using an editor.
I am sure this has been explained before, so you should be able to find the instructions using the forum search. |

Please help! I've installed the Expansion Pack, everything is working perfect, but there's one thing that spoils the gameplay:
When one of my riders attacks and is in the escapee-group, the cyclists of other teams don't want to ride at the front, NOT EVEN ONE! That means my riders always have to take the lead in the escapegroup. The problems only occurs in these escapegroups, not in the peloton, and not in a group of survivers on a final climb.
Someone please help, because this way it's nearly impossible to win a mountainjersey for example.

This is not a problem of the game. You just play wrong.
Lower the effort of your rider until he falls back, then raise it slowly until all riders are doing about the same effort.
Of course this only works if the AI riders in the escape group are on the same level as your rider. They will not work if they have no chance of winning intermediate sprints or the stage. |

Well, that's the big issue, even if I am in the front group in a flat stage of the Tour de France, with a rider of average 64 and sprint 67, the other riders refuse to ride in front. Even if I use the "hold position" command at effort 50, they don't go at front, they just pull their breaks as well and wait for either me or the peloton to take the lead. Happens EVERY time i'm in the escape group.
EDIT: By the way, I'm not new to PCM, I've been playing the games since CyM 3

Are you playing a career or single race?
I am rather sure that is has nothing to do with the expansion pack or did it work before you installed this pack?
In any case, I recommend that you uninstall everything* and try again, like this:
- Install the game
- Test it
- Install the latest patch
- Test it
- Install the Expansion pack
- Test it
*Reinstall the game without losing activation
If you want to reinstall the game without losing an activation, you only have to click on "cancel" when you are asked to de-activate your key. That way your key will remains in your registry. After the installation, do not re-activate the game.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with your Db, I do not have specific comments in the Tour de France or from the spring classics like Paris Roubaix Liege Bastogne Liege or where he is expected to announce the departure cities and the junction of the tree for example.The sounds are well in XLMSOUND but the commentator don't say it.these comments working good with the original DB.I 've looked in STA Race and Race Dyn but there are nothing.Thanks for your help.
