Hushovd elected to retire young, going out after the 2009 season. He did pretty well over 2007-9, though. Won 3 stages of the Tour in 2007 and took the points title at the Deutschland Tour. Similar results over the next couple of seasons.

Arvesen retired after 2011. He did well in some second tier races both nothing really of note to talk about. Credit Agricole is now a pretty firmly Continental tour team.

Thank you for the info.

Won't have to wait too long, the Amgen Tour of California is coming up soon. That is our first team goal of the season.

Past Winners
2007: Jerome Pineau (Bouygues Telecom)
2008: Xavier Florencio (Bouygues Telecom)
2009: Sebastien Joly (Liquigas)
2010: Theo Eltink (AG2R)
2011: Eros Capecchi (Liquigas)
2012: Sylvain Chavenel (Cofidis)
2013: Emelien-Benoit Berges (AG2R)

This is our first time participating in this race. We'll have a go at trying to win it with Cadel Evans. He might not be the strongest anymore, but he is in very good form so while still here in the early season, he might have a shot. Humberto Amilcar will be here to start preparations for the Tirreno-Adriatico, one of our sponsor goals this season.

Stage 3: St. Cannat - Marseille

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/PCM0004-3.jpg

Tiny hill at the end of the stage allows for some action. Attacks come from the yellow jersey of Cyril Gautier, Jelle Vanendert and Cadel Evans. Steven Tronet goes a bit later and catches the group of 3. They get a gap over the peloton of 28 seconds as the stage is won by the yellow jersey.

Stage 4: Greasque - Toulon

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/PCM0007-1.jpg

Cadel attacks on the final hill. Amilcar is feeling pretty good today and decides to attack for practice as well. Plenty of other attacks come as well, but the only guy who can keep up is Thomas Peterson and Branislav Samoilau. Amilcar fades in the sprint, Evans does not. He wins the stage and takes yellow. Our first stage win of the season!

Very good results after a bad TTT. Is Farrar in seriously bad form still? I am assuming he is riding Milan San Remo? I am really looking forward to Amgen Tour of California. Is Evans going to be captain with Amilcar as helper and then switched roles at Paris - Nice?

SeoulYank
Farrar is still in early season form. He'll be stronger by Milano-San Remo, but wouldn't consider him a true contender. In PCM Spain DB he is not one of the best sprinters. I fear the Tour of California will be a poor outing by my team for reasons that I'll explain later.

This season, the Sponsors goal is Tirreno-Adriatico, not Paris-Nice, so that is where Amilcar and Evans will be found.
