Not the full reason like he says it is, but a bit of it.
Its not that, its the flair for the dramatic and the fact he needs to be in the spotlight. Also I'm sure the money the Livestrong foundation used to put on that commercial would make some cancer researcher very happy.
Lots of time you need to invest money to make more money. If the commercial creates awareness, then it's a money well spent. |

He'll pay the TV company to show the advert a number of times. It's up to them when they show it, unless the customer has paid extra for a prime time slot or something.

I have a feeling that it'd be better to start 1 thread for each stage. We'll see. |

Here a few days before I'll coem with my predictions
Yellow: too hard to predict but I predict it will be a fight between Menchov, COntador A. Schleck and Sastre.
Green: Is between Cavendish and Freire and possibly Hushovd if can regain his primetime form
Polka dot: Properbly the hardest to predict could go anywhere, also depends on who wnats it, my guess is Moncutie which is properbly wrong maybe a basque or colombian
White: will most likely be A. Schleck.

Yellow: Armstrong. Maybe Contador.
Green: Depends on Bennati and Freire's form. Considering they haven't shown to be in form so far....Cavendish
Polka Dots: does anyone really care?
White: Andy Schleck. Who will be Astana's main rival.

Holy mother of god no.
If he crashed today and cracked his spine my reaction would be "meh". |

Lance will not win it, as much as I want him too. He will be Contadors best helper and will finish 2nd. |

My predictions
YELLOW - Armstrong (though if I could choose it'd be Frank Schleck)
GREEN - Hushovd (Boonen if he races though)
KOM - Moreau (or another Frenchie)
WHITE - Andy Schleck |

It's just a feeling, I guess.
I'm a bit afraid of it, and that's mainly because of one attack in the Giro. Leipheimer was in problems, and Lance for once forgot his helper duties and attacked right up to the favourites. He then fell back to help Leipheimer, but either way, it seemed easy for him to go with the favourites.
It's not a lot to base on, but after all, it's Lance. Never seen him fail in the Tour |

Now I saw that differently at the Giro.
He tried to go with the favorites and couldn't, so dropped back to help Levi.
He'll be in better condition for the Tour, and the only guy I see beating him is on 'his' team, which counts him out, imo. |

Still can't see Lance to go in mountains with attacks of others....Sastre, Menchov, Contador.... |

Contador will be too tired from fetching his own bidons and scrounging food from Caisse by the time the race hits the mountain to even think of attacking. |
