What the hell. The American commentator shouting "Di Luca!!! It's Di Luca winning!!!!"
Only now he realised it's Petacchi.
That reminds me of Casper's TdF win (the romanian comentators):
A: And the winner is... O'Grady...
B: Yeah great win for O'Grady
a few seconds
B: No, it's not O'Grady and you wanna know why?
A: why?
B: For the simple reason that he isn't riding for Cofidis anymore.

Basso and Leipheimer lost 13 seconds. The only favourites that lost time I think.

Siutsou lost 49 seconds. Well done for a GC rider. A bit of miscalculation for Columbia there.

I think that they are focusing only on the sprints. If they can get a good spot in the overall rankings that's even better.

Yeah of course, but Siutsou was their GC leader.

yeah but they also have Rogers. If Siutsou can't do an important result the Aussie is always there.

he won't do anything anywhere. That polkat dot jersey in 2007 will be his only results. ever.

still he looked like being the leader for Columbia for GC.

I agree with Alex, but why not seeing the columbian in "maglia verde" in Rome. Seems like it's the only thing he could be able to manage.
So, loosing time on a milano-san remo-like finish isn't important

Again, who cares?
Anyway, on the subject of streaming, I just signed up for Eurosport Player. 1 month, 5 € ... money well spent. |

Bullshit, shame on both Alex and Knasen:
AFTER tour 07:
18/08/2007 2.HC Esp 1 Vuelta a Burgos
28/03/2008 2.1 Esp 2 Vuelta a Castilla y Leon
27/03/2008 2.1s Esp 2 Vuelta a Castilla y Leon, Stage 4 : Carrion de Los Condes - Montaña Palentina (Collada de Salcedillo)
25/04/2008 2.1s Ita 4 Giro del Trentino, Stage 4 : Lavarone - Pejo Terme
27/04/2008 1.XPT1 Bel 21 Liège - Bastogne - Liège
-FALL IN GIRO (broken wrist I think)
-FALL IN TOUR (again broken wrist)
2009:
15/02/2009 2.1 Fra 13 Tour Méditerranéen
15/02/2009 2.1s Fra 2 Tour Méditerranéen, Stage 6 : Nice - Toulon (Mont Faron)
28/03/2009 2.1 Ita 9 Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali 5/04/2009 2.1 Ita 2 Settimana Lombarda
So next time you try to 'burn' a cyclist, at least do some background search before even considering to post something like that.
Also, he was simply held up at that final little climb, when half of the peloton parked. He happened to be in the final part, that's bad luck and we all know he has poor positioning skills.
I would not write him off just yet, certainly not if you consider he has good form.
But then again, when I read posts like "he hasn't done anything since 2007", then I cannot throw of the feeling, I'm dealing with, sorry to use the term, ignorant people.

I can't find any specifications on the quality, but my guess is that it's on level with Universal, perhaps a tad better, and much better than the usual Justin.tv streams.
The thing with Eurosport is that:
1. I get some rather good Danish commentators (bye, bye "Di Luca beats Cavendish in the sprint!!!").
2. I don't have to have to live with slow speeds while watching the Giro due to the American IP trick.
3. There's so much other sports that I can now watch ;) |

commentators are for me not important, Universal wasn't that slow for me, so, I'm quite pleased
Also, I have in mind that I'll be able to rewatch every stage i miss with their OnDemand thing
