Chuckie,
Swift is a 20 year old riding probably the longest race he has ridden as a pro, in the tough humid conditions of Beijing, in almost certainly the strongest line up of riders in a race has has ridden.
You make him seem like an older rider who is more used to those sorts of races.

I did hear today at 4:30am that Swifty was going to be riding again as a Stagiere for Barloworld in the ToB. Whether that's true or not i don't know. There is, of course, the possibility that after 8 days of getting up at 4:30 am that i was hearing things.
Would be great if its true but also likely that perhaps it was someone talking about the fact that he rode for Barloworld at the ToB last year.
Thats why i said i may have been hearing things. I just know the commentator mentioned him riding as a Stagiere for them. But with the amount of mistakes they said all race long, im not surprised if they said the future tense rather than the past.

First of all, I'm in shock. I had never ever expected you saying that. Crazy.

He was. He told Velonews that he was a bit disappointed and angry at Cancellara, because he closed the gap. |

And The Great British Denial? Its no rumour guys, it actually exists. Its so strong i couldnt out-deny it even if i chanted "Rasmussen was in Mexico" for several hours a day

There are two ways we can look at this:
Either it's national teams and CSC has no place in this, in which case Andy should shut the fuck up because Cancellara was not on his team.
Or we can assume trade teams (CSC) do matter, in which case Cancellara dragged a much better sprinter than Andy who also rides for their same trade team (Kolobnev) back up to the front. In which case Andy should shut the fuck up.
So, all things considered: Shut up and stop whining Andy.

Wow just watched Samuel get his gold medal and he was really emotional, shows how much this victory means.
I have always thought Sammy was a great cyclist and i yelled in joy when he won it. He truly deserved it |

Cooke really was the best in the end, she lost the wheel in the tool gate, but she got back on the climb and won the race depely respect from here.

I'm very happy Swedens first medal is in cycling, hopefully it will give some good publicity for the sport
Also congrats to Britain, clearly Cooke was the best rider today |
