I suppose i can consider myself lucky. Both my parents and entire family had good teeth. I genally feel sorry for people who have bad teeth (as long as they brush and look after them). |

Which is what I do, and my sister as well. Nevermind that I had most of my teeth already filled at the age of 9 or 10.
Now I have them checked every year, and still get 3 or 4 light fillings. That's really annoying. I brush them two or three times a day and don't eat much candies although I drink litres of Coca Cola.
Oh well, that's not as annoying as my Achilles tendon though... |

Here's why you should hate me: I eat tons of unhealthy stuff and my teeth are perfect (I used to have a slightly crooked one, but it's straightened itself out now). I also brush them once a day only due to work constraints. They're still blindingly white though.
On the downside, I have the most fragile tendons of any person ever. I have countless injuries in tendons all over my body.
So it's a trade-off |

Well, I've been unable to practice any sport for September 2007, because of my left Achilles tendon. I had been running and cycling for I had a tendinitis the former March that didn't recover totally, mostly because I had sportive objectives (cycling in the Pyrénees with my pals, running a semi-marathon, etc.) thinking I'd rest later and let it heal.
Unfortunately it got very painful the penultimate day, since then it's been a terrible ordeal. Rest, ultrasound scan, anti inflammatory cream, physiotherapy, anti inflammatory (injection). Nothing has worked. My blood has even been checked. The tendon is not really swelling, but as soon as the muscular warm up is done it gets very painful. The fibres looked intact on the scan though, it was the sheath around that looked distorted (no risk of rupture then).
The rheumatologist said I'm lost for running. I hope it's not true...
My teeth are a very relative problem compared to that. |

Vista sucks.
And so does Apple.
This is a short story about me moving 1 simple song from my new computer to my iPod:
I statred by downloading the song. Then I remembered I needed iTunes for my iPod. I downloaded that too. Then it said that if I synchronized the iPod with my computer, I would lose all the other songs on my iPod. (86 songs) So I googled after a way to move the songs over to my computer from the iPod. When that was done, I synchronized my iPod. I now have 1 song on it. Then I moved the songs I moved onto my computer back into my iPod, only to see that the names were wierd, and only the songs I have downloaded got over to the iPod. I then wake up my dad, because I needed the car keys to get the CDs with the rest of the songs on. Then I had to rip them from the CD to he computer with Windows Media Player. I'm now on the last CD, and I haven't met any more problems, except Vista.... Vista keeps asking me for an activation key. Now I'm synchronizing the newly added songs... And I'm very sleepy, got school later today. (GMT +1)
Now I'm mad and tired of Vista, and hate Apple. And I'm going to bed. And I'm waking up in 5 hours. <.<
A small update of this short story. My iPod comitted suicide today. |

I've been to the dentist, but the only thing he could do so far is remove the root (nerve), because there was no time to fix everything yet.
The upside: I don't have pain anymore
The downside: The right side of my face is still swollen like a balloon. |

Well, I still got the guarantee (typo?) so if they don't fix it, I either get 1700Nkr, or I get a new one for free. I think.... |

I used to think management stereotypes were funny and wrong too.
Then I started working.
Not so much in Portugal, but the foreigners....egads, the managers and bosses are evil. EVIL.
What the teachers tell us is that most of the portuguese managers are down to earth guys that know were they came from and now what they had to do to get where they are. They know what to expect from people and know their limits.
The foreigners are often people that have no work experience outside their post, so they are much colder and most of them fail to implement their models in Portugal because the labour force isn't set up to work in coalition with their standards.
But I really don't care about that since I'm planning to be an internet millionaire. Ever heard of Compu-Global Hyper Meganet? I'm going to make the dream come true...
