So CrueTrue how long do you think Cancellara can hold onto the yellow jersey? |

It doesn't matter how long Cancellara can keep it, as long as Schleck or Sastre get it next. |

yes, the guy who was at a team full of doped guys, who in his first professional season was doing the seemingly impossible for anyone his age...yet some people still want to believe he was the only one not doped...yes...and pigs fly...well...then again, Vino flew over the handlebars yesterday...
I'm sorry, I've derailed the discussion
anyone fancy anything other than a sprint finish? |

Glendalf: Cancellara will keep it until the mountains, meaning that tomorrow will the last day of yellow. |

Manzano said Valverde is doped and I believe him.
I hope Wiggins keeps up in front till the end, but it's quite unlikely... |

today he'll still finish up front unless he crashes...doubt he has any chance for the stage win though. the terrain is pancake-flat (which is a stupid sentence...pancakes aren't that flat) |

Another interesting fact: Chris Horner also eats McD food during TdF |

And about Wiggins, he's currently 17 minutes ahead of the peloton. |

Why not? If he likes McD that much.
I think Wiggins will win the stage, most sprinters are somehow injured or in bad shape so their teams won't do too much to get him. CSC will try to get im under 5 minutes, and even if he does get the yellow jersey today, they know he'll lose it again tomorrow. |

Wiggins is alone in the front, and I have a hard time believing that he will be able to do it on his own. If he's to stand a chance he will need some "helpers",
Cancellara down - crashed. |

He's already got 17 minutes but it still should be easy for the bunch to get him on his own |

it would be somewhat heroic of Wiggins...but he knows he has to give it ALL today.
is Cancellara okay? |

He seems okay. Is riding back to the peloton alone in a steady pace. |

Wiggins is approaching 20 mins lead...
the only time I've seen someone win on a lone break was Zabriskie at the 2004 Vuelta...and only because Valverde crashed and the peloton had to stand still for 10 minutes waiting for him.
EDIT: just as I wrote this, the chase started. he's done for, unfortunately

the portuguese commentator is a complete idiot...
someone sends an e-mail saying "you're criticising Discovery for using others to chase instead of Noval...in fact he was run over by a car and had deep cuts"
the idiot responds "you're contradicting yourself...if he had deep cuts, that's another reason the team should have burned him out chasing"
IDIOT
can anyone fail to see why I hate this guy? |

Great stuff by Wiggins today, good practice for the longer TTs in which I hope he can prove you all wrong and not lose 3-4 minutes.
As predicted Boonen won the sprint.
But guess what? Bad luck for Cavendish again! May have been his fault a little. Cav got his front wheel caught in Boonens derailer in the sprint build up. Cavendish bike was effectovely broken and he finished down in 181st, while Boonen was stuck in 53x11 and still won.
