It wouldn't be the 1st time that GC contenders have attacked on a descent and gained good time, it would have been koas at the top and also bloody cold which also would have played a factor. To me it looks like the took the risks others didn't
No, it wont be the first time but its doubtful with how many of the top that didn´t see "the attack" |

Second rate climbers like Dupont, Vuillermoz and Rogers cant close down climbers like Quintana, Rolland and Hesjedal. |

If Rolland and Quintana get to the finish together, and then Quintana gives the victory to Rolland*. I will break a chair(Betting)

Pfft. Quintana, Rolland and Hesjedal didn't know about neutralization (I think), and they attacked and they gained time. Their move is brave and spectacular and great racing. People complain about modern cycling, about those 2km Mountain sprints and when they get such a mountain stage - you still complain...

It should be made clear that I dont think anywhere, did either the Giro or the Radio say "there is a neutralization" but that "there might be one" if at all.
Some riders banked on there being a neutralization, and others kept on riding.
Its like in hockey! You play until the whistle.

This is so true. People need to get over themselves and enjoy the race! |

These havoc stages are best GT material really, but there is bitter feeling down there when outer circumstances affect races.
