Actually, I'd really like to see Sagan signing for BMC. They need top sprinter and he would have some great support there. Not sure how would that work with Gilbert, though.
Or GVA for that matter.
If Sagan and Gilbert are both in GVAs team, then I hope he switches teams ASAP. Guy is too damn good & exciting to be constrained by either Sagan's or Gilbert's ambitions.

Where is a team that can have him as a leader AND come with big support and sign him for the best races?

I still wondering how Liquigas ended like that?
about 3-4 years back they was one of the strongest team..way better then Lampre who has been bad signings leader..since they got Costa.
Today ..we have Lampre and Liquigas is gone...irony |

Simple, Liquigas withdrew, then they had to cut budget and they had to chose between Nibali and Sagan. They chose Sagan, Basso was already aging by that time, some of domestiques went to other teams then (like Oss, Quinziato, Szmyd and others).
IMHO biggest problem was that their main leaders in their last years (as Liquigas) were Nibali, Sagan, Basso (started to decline) and Pelizzotti (suspended). When half of your leaders go down due to aging or suspension and sponsor withdraws so you can't keep the other two, then no wonder level of the team goes down.

Movistar signs neo-pro Marc Soler, 20 year old spaniard, after an impressive amateur season.

Don't think GVA needs particularly big support like other riders since his best moves are daring attacks and he's also rarely one of the big favourites, at least in the big ones. In that case, he should be affordable for quite some World Tour teams that lack a great contender in flanders classc.

I think he should make his decision based on what support will he get in races he will target. Cannondale and Alonso should be able to fully support him (just we don't know if they can bring some valuable helpers for him for next season), while Astana and Tinkoff would obviously more focus on GC in Tour, which may end like Cav's year at Sky. Ofc Sagan is more independent than Cav.

Cav likes to have strong and dedicated team around him..but he can also manage alone at the sprint. Done that many times |

Man. He is so underrated. Like a lesser known Sagan. |

Ofc Sagan is more independent than Cav. No way Sagan should stay at Cannondale, in my opinion his talents gets ruined on that team, because the support of the team is pretty much terrible, he hardly ever have a teammate on the final part of a stage/classics, and I truly believe he has lost many potential wins because of that. I really doubt Team Alonso actually is going to happen, haven't heard of a single rider signing for that team.
I think Sagan should go for either Astana or Tinkoff-Saxo, there is no doubt both teams are focusing on stage races, but both teams still need a guy like Sagan, a descent sprinter and very good classics rider. Sagan is a superstar, so of course he will have some support on the stages he will aim for in the Tour de France.

Hang on... Cannondale and Garmin are merging?

Well Cannondale got no other choice other than to merge with Garmin. Almost certain to get relegated from WT |

wondering why this has not been made official yet....transfer season and garmin have quite a few riders out of contract at end of season but only dennis so far has left..and from what i can tell no mass desertion of cannondale riders yet |
