The break consists of 2 riders today. Tokuda is back after yesterday, Butto is with him.
With 10kms to go the escapees still have a minute.
With 5kms to go this hasn't changed.
In the pack Christina Watches is making a sprint train. Since Johnnie had some trouble, Peter is going to give it a go in the sprint.
Tokuda is leading with 1km to go, Butto is in his wheel, but Pacheco is coming quickly.
With 500 meters to go Butto has left Tokuda behind.
and he makes it! Peter is our best rider in 5th. Many riders, including Camilli (GC no.17) lose time due to the hard wind. Our pocket-climbers managed to hang on though.

@sutty: It sure is.
@jaxika: 3rd in the sprint itself even!
@Ollfardh: Major disappointment. The wind made sure we couldn't relay, as Timothy and Joep might not have been able to hang on then.
@krisa: He is indeed.
Our squad
Björn Arvid is a domestique, or he will go in the break today.
Kristian Hammarling is undisputed leader here. As a sprinter and in a form peak he can safely be called a favourite for today.
Simon Holt is a possible lead-out. If not, sprint train seems likely.
Heiko Kalichmann will be a domestique.
Djaja Susanto is the other option for lead-out. Only if he fails to get past the hills Simon will take over.

Startlist
Since once again the pack doesn't want to chase we sent someone in the break. Simon gives it a go this time.
With 3kms to go the sprint is approaching. Simon has to start in the lead unfortunately.
With 1km to go Edmondson leads ahead of Carthy and Simon.
With 500 meters to go Simon is having a higher speed than the others.
At the line
he hangs on for victory! Once again the pack doesn't make the time limit.

Allegedly Krisitian is unhappy with the way the team is racing the PITS. He is frustrated that the team is unwilling to give him the chance of even sprinting in his big goal period of the season, instead letting everything just go down the road. He is happy for his teammates to get wins, but not in such a damaging way to his own season.

How selfish of him
Another great win, and it makes sense not to chase, since you were only a small squad, not much bigger than the breakaway! |

Another win! Strange that the peloton keeps missing the time gap, the logic is there but still strange... |

@sutty: Thanks!
@Ollfardh: It's really horrible in these races indeed
@baia: Thanks!
@TMM: We understand Kristian's concern. However, we felt we had to do this. Our team simply isn't strong enough to chase on its own and it didn't look like we would get help. Therefore, we sent someone in the break as a back-up option. Besides, Kristian has had his chances in the sprint, but never really convinced despite his peak.
@The Hobbit: Thanks!
@nacho: It's the AI. No use fighting that.

@nacho: It is indeed!
@Ian: It was De Groote. Quicksim probably makes the best TT-ist finish first.
@sutty: It already was looking great, but it's even better now!
@Jesleyh: Sums it up perfectly
Our squad
Björn Arvid is here as domestique.
Jonas Ek is co-leader here. If the break can be pulled back he may try a late attack.
Kristian Hammarling will go in the break. He's decent on the cobbles, and has a good sprint, which is helpful in the break.
Fatbardh Haxhi is also there for after a break. He has a good sprint, which is likely to be helpful here.
Khieu Tet Khamphan is likely to try a late attack, if the break is pulled back.

Startlist

Handley tries to catch up.
Under the banner both are caught by Kristian's enormously strong sprint.
