But the classics are rolling around, so you'll improve from racing them. Smile

BEVERBEEK CLASSIC

Mr. Nic Hashir has taken the liberty of preparing a goal for his team when the sponsors haven't. The DS expects no less than a top 25 finish.

Flat as a pancake is the only way to describe the Beverbeek Classic, so not much to talk about in terms of terrain.
The Startlist

Not a high class field as you can see, Danilo Napolitano stands out as a clear favourite for this one. However, the fact the Napolitano is almost a certainty to win a bunch sprint, the other teams may not be too eager to pace - leaving a possible chance for the breakaway. They probably won't do it though, as again, the stage is pancake flat. The lack of big names however, may favour underdogs Team U25, who will be trying to work on their sprinting routine.

Thanks for bearing with me everyone, less than 55 hours 'till I finally get access to my computer and can put all the proper codes in Smile

BEVERBEEK CLASSIC

There isn't a chance of a breakaway today, as Accent.Jobs and Team U25 are positively hammering the pace all day. The closest thing was a 17-man group of riders that got 1'12" ahead before getting caught.
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0006_zps0344f297.jpg

However, in the closing kilometers, a Crelan - Euphony rider attacked. Meanwhile, a crash in the back takes out 16, and forces "breakaway" rider Nicolas Bazin to leave.
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0009_zps64c00105.jpg

In front, a textbook leadout was being formed by Team U25.
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0010_zpse6bb991a.jpg

The Crelan rider was caught at 6.1 km.
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0011_zpsbd662381.jpg

The sprint is on! Around the corner, Team U25 starts to fall apart, and Bakker only has one man for the run in.
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0012_zps9eb0f7ac.jpg

He gets swallowed up, and Van Dijk is in the perfect position!
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0013_zps2e2352ae.jpg

And he'll take this one!

Director's Note
I am very pleased with the team's efforts. Bakker delivered a solid Top 10, and the team leadout train was nearly flawless. Very good job by everyone. As a reward for this hard work, you all have an opportunity. During this "week off" of racing, I need 8 riders to come with me on a trip to the US. This trip is detailed below.

-Nic Hashir

-THE TRIP-

5 days in Aspen, CO, USA
Effect: +1 MO, +1 HIL, +1 RES
All riders will attend one of the three trips during the season
Marc Bennett is also valid to come with us

Trip 2 is 5 days in the London outskirts, and will focus on time-trialing and sprinting

Trip 3 is 5 days in Roubaix, and will focus on cobblestones and fitness

Wow, a lot of points given in Beverbeek, but a good result, so that make sense.

I'm not sure what you mean, can Wesley join(USA) as well, or only for the 8 Beverbeek guys?

NVM, got it.

So, do we need to send you a PM to apply if we want to join trip 1?

Wesley Zolderman is highly interested in the trip Wink
