I feel sorry for the "real" City fans, the ones who have been following the club for several years. They now have to be associated with 15 years old glory hunters. |

You guys are all wrong, there is only three true clubs in England
Liverpool and ManU which i dislike somewhat and Arsenal, that is 125 years of history and reasonable building the club, not some dirty oil money.
As i mentioned earlier, i think ManC are beginning to slip from the top after ChL quitting (please, please). Not a Chelsea fan, but i like their victory...
And Tottenham?Bah,sixth place at best in May...
P.S. to Freitas PCM: I hope you will have new signiture soon, seeing Cesc in that Barca shirt makes me angry every day

I still remember fall to League Two. I remember Kinkladze orchestrating midfield and Keane effectively destroying Haalland knees. Have been watching City for 12 years and I have to admit that many people can feel that way.
For us - it is like to be poor child on the street who is adopted by billionaire. I don¨t like style which we are spending now. But I have to admit - if owner wants to get on top here and now - there is no other way.
And I still believe that typical city thinking is still with us. Don¨t forget we are only reigning champion who were relegated. We are able to destroy very strong sides and in other match lose against notts co.
Only thing I don¨t understand is that many of these spending haters are from Man Utd and Chelsea fans. And these two teams spent in last 10 years still much more than we. |

Despite not liking them, i still say Good Luck to Man City because if any other team was taken over by a wealthy arab with money coming out of their ears, they certainly wouldn't say NO! |

You know Mr. Arsene Wenger? There is always the other way, only not so easy as this one

In the Premier League two lubs stand out; City and Chelsea. Both have been bought by rich investors and have suddenly gotten millions upon millions to spend, Man Utd has not been in that situation. The money Man Utd have spent have come from both winning trophies and selling other players.
In just a few short years City have spent more then £200 million. Yes, United have been buying big, but they have been doing it due to "fair" circumstances such as those I mentioned earlier. City and Chelsea didn't really spend much before they fell ass backwards into a pile of money, but now they do.
I have no problem with clubs buying players, you have to if you wish to be in the top, but they should use money that they've earned fair and square. In my view, it's unfair, unethical etc. when clubs are simply givven a ton of money to spend. It ruins the whole purpose of the competition. |

But City would never earn money, they sucked before Sheikh Mansour came in. So he had to use a lot of money, otherwise City wouldnt win anything.
EDIT: And Manchester United, Chelsea, Barca, Real Madrid etc have a least as many glory hunters as City. Should we feel sorry for the "real" fans of those clubs to? I dont, because thats what come when you are good, like City are now.

How dare you not to mention Villa The original club that set up the league with 11 others. Longer history than Arsenal and the only club of 4 in England to win win Champions League/European Cup Anyway they won't be winning anything with McLeish.
And I disagree about City, I like them because how they play football. When the play it's almost like Barcelona at times. Don't have concern with money, nobody saying about Madrid which get money off the government at times.

You killed me with this one
When i want to see teams holding the ball for 20 minutes in the row and passing and passing at the own half as Barca do, i would rather go to see a handball match. Barcelona's game is sooo booring
At least City has SuperMario, funniest player ever...
