Despite stage 5 being classified as flat, I knew it can go to climbers. I also have seen some chances there for Pierre Rolland, to improve his position before decisive mountain stage.
I thought that early breakaways will be chased, so I launched Castroviejo first, and kept Barton in peloton for later attacks. But I think 3rd breakaway with Castroviejo succeed, and he was the one who got some KoM points (also intermediate sprints, as others weren't bothered with them).
With 7,5 km to go he was going alone, 42" ahead of the peloton. I attacked on final climb with Rolland. He shortly overtook Castroviejo, and went for the finish line being chased by the peloton. They managed to swallow Castroviejo, but Frenchman was to strong for them that day. He won by 36", and ahead of the mountain stage he's in very good position, just 2nd in general, and few minutes ahead of his climber rivals.
I still had quite fresh Boeckmans in the peloton, so with little help from Kwiatkowski (as Rasmussen was done already) I went for the mass sprint finish, and that resulted with 3rd place for my coke-doped sprinter.

So after some show from Boeckmans it was finally decisive day, a day for climbers.
It looks like climbers also don't really care about Tour de Langkawi. My main rivals were: Damiano Caruso (HIL 77, MO 76), and Winner Anacona HIL 77, MO 75), and Pierre Rolland was the favourite for the race.
Before the climb I decided to go for intermediate sprints with Rasmussen, to help him with getting green jersey if I decide to withdraw Boeckmans. He won 2 of them, get 12 points, and secured 2nd place (just behind the Belgian).
Then final battle started, and it has to be said - Rolland was above the rest.
He easily gained over 4 min lead, and there wasn't much peloton could do to take the win away from him.
That gave him yellow jersey, and with 5'45" lead he's definitely gonna keep take it home. Castroviejo also did well, finishing stage 10th (27th overall).

I guess it's quite simple what I mean - you're also dominating the game. The only difference is you do it with 2 cyclists you created, gave them skills you wanted and don't want to share what are they (I can only assume, by the results, they are pretty high). I did it playing game fairly for 6 seasons, starting from literally nothing. Don't get me wrong - I would never point that out, at the end of the day it's just a game and it's up to you how you play it, but it's kind of funny, that you're the one who says my team is "too damn strong". I ignored your first two comments (they were kind of jokes), but apparently it looks like you really have some issues with that posting them over and over again. |

Wow dude, take it easy. Those comments are compliments, saying your team is really strong. But, hey, I'll stop commenting if that's the way you see it.
If you feel attacked or something, okay, you're probably a better PCM player, that's good? It's a story, mate. I was commenting on the story.

As I said Ian I took them, well maybe not as compliments, but as a harmless jokes, first two times, but when you keep repeating something so persistently it's ceases to be funny. In fact it shows you really have some issues. That's my impression - you're the only one who really knows what your intention was. Deciding who's better PCM player is just childish, and I'm bit too old for that, and when it comes to comments it's up to you. |

But they are not jokes. You're dominating that race and I'm just commenting on that. You dominate, so I say your team is very strong, you take that as reproach, I can't help that. In no way have I said that's bad, that you're cheating or whatever. I just stated the facts in an exited way: your team is strong.
The way you interpret my comments shows you got a problem with me saying you got a strong team. Like there's something wrong with W & S in my story being strong because I "cheated" it. So, hey, maybe I'm not a good PCM player, but I'm just looking to make a good story, so what the hell that I edit stats, everyone's free (like you said, too, not saying you didn't say that). But I'm not accusing you of anything and you go into offensive defense for no reason whatsoever.
Last time: they were harmless, fact-stating comments. Next time you win so much, I'll just say: team's not doing well, is it Wouldn't make much sense, though... It's clearly a misunderstanding so sorry if you you misunderstood me, but in no way did I mean anything negative by my comments. I'm enjoying this and I expressed this. |

After the mountain stage things went flat again for remaining 4 days.
Didn't go for intermediates and climb, as Rolland after last win was holding good lead. My goal was a mass sprint finish in order to get another win for doped Boeckmans. For the moment I thought I'm not gonna make it as with only 18 km to go breakaway was holding 2'40" lead. I took over peloton, formed my, train squeeze it really hard, and managed to catch them just 4 km from the finish line. After that everything went duly, plus Boeckmans after having 5 cups of coke, was in great form for the day (+5). He won easily and get win No. 4.
Kris Boeckmans caught on coke.

Another chance to celebrate for Boeckmans! (seems to be a problem with a national flag that just shows pink in the results) |
