I've no idea how he rode to the finish like that....
Incredible. The Johnny-Hoogerland-Award 2012 goes to CAS. My biggest respect to him.
(Or rather backdated, the CAS-Award 2011 goes to Hoogerland)

Sorensen is awesome. One of my favourite riders for sure.
Wiggins has just been on Sky Sports News saying that on that short decent before the final climb he suggested to Froome that Froome should go and win the stage, but Froome decided to stay with Wiggins instead. |

True CAS is awesome, hope he can start tomorrow.
Why should Froome dicide to stay if he was alowed to go for the stage?

Interesting. Wiggins definitely seemed to be saying everyone was suffering go on and win but who knows whether the team then said no thanks or Froome decided to stay. |

Possibly because he wanted to make a show of loyalty after all the conflict within the team coverage or possibly because he was told to stay. Wonder what he will say in an interview - I guess anything other than "I decided to stay" suggests a clear team order. |

I just head what happened to Cav, somewhere in the last 3 KM some imbecile was running beside him with a flay which got caught round his handle bars and made him crash. |

@MarkCavendish
Thanks to the dickhead who crashed me at 3km to go today by waving his flag so it wrapped round my handlebars. Bike's broke. Leg's swollen.
Indeed, hopefully he'll be okay for his showdown with Greipel at Champs-Élysées.

The possibility of that happening is why you're not supposed to have flags next to the riders. Moron.

I swear, it seems they empty the asylums each July for the mountain stage crowds. Not to cast aspersions on our wonderful French cousins but it seems to get a little crazier, a little closer each year, and for the sake of it.
It was eleven more than necessary.

Update on the Sörensen injury. He's at a hospital in Toulouse, where he'll get a skin graft on his hand. He may not start tomorrow.

Cavendish is just like the rest of Team Sky; cocky.
Cav should learn to grow up, and not go cry about everything that happens against his will

What a BEAUTIFUL victory!
I've just downloaded and watched the stage, and found myself shouting at the screen. I think I've never done that before. Boy, I was nervous at the end there. I should mention that Alejandro also earned me about £70 + a great lead in the PCMdaily fantasy betting.
All in all a great day for me, as Klöden was sensational too. Such a shame he punctured on the last climb.

Screw Wiggins, Froome and Nibali. Can they just give the Tour victory to Sorensen?

More importantly, lets hope he's fine for the Olympic Road Race. |

Hope Sorensen recovers for tomorrow. If not, he still deserves a lot of respect. |

Well that's cold. Way to celebrate these guys losing their livelihood and dream. I really hate Cav but I'm not going to wish him harm.
