Wow, you played the game a lot, I've barely played 3-4 stages to see how bugged it is, until the first stage appears I won't play.

Ok, so I wanted to see how hard mountain stages are and i got surprised, I played with Astana(Kazastana) the 9th stage of the TdF and with 20kms to go I've put all my men to relay(beside Vino) at 90% and with about 5kms to go only 4 remained and they distanced from the peleton and won by 3 minutes advance. (Normal dificulty)
That's so unrealistic, I hope this will get fixed too. |

Patch screens? Of what? It's not like the patch changes the whole design or anything
(Anyway, the patch was released to the beta testers a few days ago. Tomorrow, a new one will be released for us, so it will take some time before you guys get it) |

my main gripe with it is the same as in previous ones that still hasn't been fixed (besides the crashes):
when the terrain is labelled as hilly, there is no way it'll end in a bunch sprint. ten guys will attack on the flat near the end and win. simply stupid.
the weirdest thing is they seemed to have fixed that for this game (it sometimes finishes in bunch sprints on hilly stages) but only in stages of stage races. in one-day races it's exactly the same as before. simply idiotic...
take the Rund um Koln for example. try it. it will NEVER end in a bunch sprint. despite the last few kms being flat, a lot of people will still attack on the flat and magically get away to win.
by the way, in reality that race finished in a sprint.

I found this to be the case with PCM 2006 on Hard mode. If I was playing a one-day classic, oftentimes a group of good flat riders would take off with about 40-50 km to go. With all of my guys relaying like drafthorses (i.e. at 99%), I could never reel them in. It was especially frustrating because i was playing Milram and so I knew i could win the sprint if I could just get the breakaway reeled in.
So for me, this behavior had more to do with difficulty level rather than if there were hills or not. But I did find that the way to cope with the problem is to send one of my junior sprinters with the breakaway. That way I had my bases covered because if the pack didn't reel them in, I could still win the race with my sprinter. I won quite a few races that way with Milram. |

that's exactly what I'm talking about. idiotic. no realism at all.

One thing i noticed that the move to the front of the pack button, doesnt work. I have to put effort on 99 just to get to the front of the pack, also they sprints starts really early so i always just make a breakaway when they start to sprint

thats because in the last few games its a 'maintain position' button, not a go to front of group button |
