What is the point of serving a two-year ban if you are all going to act like this? Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, everyone who serves his sentence deserves a chance for a fresh start. I may be naive but I just like to enjoy the show no matter who's in.
Indeed. If it was Millar, they would be cheering
But trust me, everyone except haters respect the "everyone is innocent until proven guilty" rule.
Yes, or the "clearly guilty but let's pretend otherwise rule" |

Yes, he said he'd retired once he got the ban, and as the ban was only a year, he was hoping everyone would forget to extend it to 2 when he returned

Im really happy Vino won. Its clear that after he unjustly forced to retire he could come back and show those no good race organizers that he's still the best in the world. Im sure that now he will win Tour de France once ASO apologizes and lets him race. FORZA VINO!

Also, Rodriguez failed me again, but I still hope he'll win the Vuelta. |

Really yes, a good Gesink would never finish 15th in Fleche Wallone but much higher. He is nowhere near his Basque Country form. Open your eyes Really? Gesink isn't that good rider how do you think he is. At least so far. He is in good form, but Kreuziger or Nibali aren't in better in this moment. Top form of them we'll see in July. Simply told he isn't somehow better cyclist than Nibali or Kreuziger. At least in results. In your theory Gesink is a megastar. So how could be his biggest result in his career win in Giro dell'Emilia so far?

the internet world wants the rules laid down to be followed
2 year ban
+ further 2 years out of pro tour.

This was clearly the best classic of the week. And what a way of winning it by Vino. Just Vinokourov's way. I miss more riders like him, what a boss. The way he killed Kolobnev's sprint... fantastic!!! |

So if he rides for a CT team and wins, everyone will be happy?

Nope, but at least like Ricco, he wont be winning any of the major races

Not happy, but it'll keep him out of a lot of bigger races.
Nobody was happy when vino was winning in Italy this week, but the race is not nearly as big as this one.

The "me" world want this rule: 4 years ban. To accumulate the shit in the continental teams isn't exactly the best option, imo. |

Jonathan Vaughters sums it up nicely
Phil Liggett: "so, Jonathan, how is it these guys can come back from suspension and still ride so well?" JV: "Ummmmm.... Uhhhh...." |

Yeah well, we need a proper governing body first.

I would rather see cheats just not racing, let alone coming back to win races after they have been caught. But rules are rules and he is allowed to race, but it doesn't mean people can't boo him or dislike cheats winning still |

And what does all of this doping shit change to the fact he was actually better then the rest? I'm not exactly a Vino fan, but the way he rode today was the nicest wasn't it? Mask him and name him rider X and everyone would be happy.

so, what you're trying to say is, that people who finish their real prison sentences should be restricted to the Pro Continental real world, with another two years out of the elite Pro Tour real world.
again, correct me if I'm wrong.
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

No, that is what the UCI said. Vinokourov being one of many to ignore that, and the UCI being incompetent, not acting on that.

Because he's doped. Others are either clean or less doped. Which means they could have done exactly what Vino did today, but not at such superhuman levels

People who finish their REAL prision sentences are limited.
They find it very hard to get jobs
