What are the stats of Carrara from Vacansoleil, he's not really a climber though? More a hill rider with a nice sprint...

I really hate the guy, I can't count how many times he has snatched the victory from me on medium mountain stages.

Even as a fan of Vacansoleil, I think his mountain stats are a bit overated. 71 would be more proper...
Thanks for the post!

What I mean is whnever I have a climber with decent sprint, then he is usually there too to leave me 2nd. When I have no chance then he usually won't win. It is alsmost creepy how much that has happened.

Stage 19
Last classified mountain stage is here, finish is after downhill though. Riders will climb Puerto del Leon (easy climb), then Puerto de Navacerrada, Puerto de la Morcuera and finally Puerto de Navacerrada again. After that climb we will know overall winner of KOM competition.
Huge breakaway group begins to split in first climb of Puerto de Navacerrada. There is no dangerous rider for Francesco Masciarelli, his overall win seems to be almost certain!
Last escapee J.J.Rojas is just caught, 5km before 2nd summit of Puerto de Navacerrada. Only Contador can take KOM jersey from Francesco´s shoulders. But he must win mountain sprint and Masciarelli can´t take any points...
Ezequiel Mosquera is first on summit, Francesco Masciarelli wins Maillot rojo!
Strong group of main contenders has formed in following descent, including both Garzelli and Masciarelli. Sudenly Vicioso goes down, it could be very dangerous!
Luckily nobody else hit the ground, but leading group divided into 2 smaller, Sanchez, Mosquera and Sastre stayed behind! Maxime Monfort exploited unclear situation and surprisingly attacked! With 5 km to go he´s riding for his 2nd stage win at Vuelta!
Maxime Monfort celebrates another great win. Group with Contador came 32 seconds later, while Sanchez & co. lost anoher 25 seconds...

As there are only two stages left, it is almost certain that only two men will divide all jerseys - Alberto Contador gold and green for best "sprinter" and our Francesco Masciarelli red and white...fantastic success!!!

corrected, thanks
Stage 20
Thor Hushovd still in good shape, 14th + 1'12
Riders from Xacobeo were again fantastic, 3 in TOP10 today... best of them Cesar Veloso finished 4th, + 30
Maxime Monfort confirmed his exellent form, only 2 men could beat him today, 3rd + 19
I forgot to make screen of Stefano Garzelli. He started quite slowly, but started to push harder in second half, making 6th best time today, + 36
And here are best men of 64th edition of La Vuelta:
Ezequiel Mosquera, 35th + 2'13
Carlos Sastre, 7th + 41
2nd time today and 2nd place overall, Samuel Sanchez lost only second in penultimate stage...
Alberto Contador...although he hasn´t dominated in mountain and was far away from his top shape, due to smart ride during whole race and great results in time trials he fully deserves overall win!
