He won tour with 8min. he has a guy in the team..named Heras ..who was stronger then even Beloki and be one of podium candidate. No way..know your place team-slave.

yeaah Alberto was ass and was atacking against he's own team mates...but never-ever Lance would have been team mate for Contador and working for him..Only old senile Ligget just kept saying..How perfect team mate Lance is..if he is not following Contador atack.

They both are great riders..and can be only team leaders..

Lance's teams were always his slaves at the Tour... and it worked.

But, Discovery channel/US Postal riders were leaders in other races... some of which Lance was even a helper for. Frankly, other then The Tour and maybe a tune up race (Dauphine Libere or Tour de Suisse), Lance was rarely the leader of the race... because he just didn't care.

Heck, Savoldelli won the Giro on Discovery.

So joining Radioshack to do something at the Tour... isn't a smart move. But if your aspirations lie ANYWHERE else... then being a "slave to lance" shouldn't be an issue.

Armstrong did ride very few races other than the TdF. For me he wasnt really a team mate, he just used to ride other races besides TdF to gain form or to ride when he was invited (like ToI)

btw you can add Heras to that "Heck" of yours

Really... for anyone who doesn't think they can lead a TDF team next year, Radioshack is a decent destination.

You don't have to worry about Lance wanting to lead two GT's, and he'll be gone in a year or two so if you're a developing GT guy you don't hav eto worry about sitting behind him forever (like you would if you were a teammate of Contador or Schleck).

The list of guys eliminated by that is relatively small. Maybe 8-10 GT type guys and a few sprinters who warrant having teammates work for them in the Tour.

However, none of them like it there with Armstrong and they all try to leave as soon as they can. They all refer to Bruyneel and Armstrong as liars, hypocrites and as just downright dishonest. It doesn't matter how many breaks you get with the team, you're going to want to leave as soon as you can.

Look at Savoldelli. Here's a guy who got to be team leader at two Giros and even won one of them. From the outside, he's the best possible case....and even he got THE *BLEEP* OUT as soon as he could. And went to Astana....and as soon as Bruyneel joined Astana Savo left.

This is from possibly the nicest most friendly guy in cycling the past 15 years:

As soon as he [Bruyneel] joined Astana, I decided to leave. He still owes me my share of the prize money from the 2005 Tour we won with Discovery. Also, he was just never honest with me

Yes, Bruyneel and Armstrong steal prize money. That's not a probability, that's a FACT that several former riders of the team have complained about.

For example, Vaughters left their team a decade ago and is still owed 60 thousand dollars...

That would be irony. Brajkovic as replacement for the never-really replaced Dekker.

Although in hindsight Gianni is a much better choice. No doper and a very nice guy.

I'm seriously gonna celebrate even harder when Jonas Aaen wins than I do with Breschel (eventhough I don't see the possibility of Jonas wrapping up wins already next season as plausible).

Heck I'll even throw a banana at you just for this piece of news Banana

The only comment I'll make is that it doesn't seem very honest to say "none of them like it there with Armstrong and they all try to leave as soon as they can".

Pretty much everyone who's signed or is rumored to be signing with Radioshack have ridden with Lance and Bruyneel before.

Obviously Bruyneel buts heads with some riders. But I'd guess most managers have riders they've clashed like that with. The fact that the new team will be mostly riders Bruyneel's had before speaks to him doing pretty well on average.
