They have 5 panilests and ask who they think is going to win and one guy just loved friere (this is 2 years back) every flat stage and another just said an american rider
duffers? He only does the studios, and does anyone watch that bit?
It's Harmon and Kelly. FTW

Don't know if it's already posted before, but here is the Skil - Shimano line-up for the TdF.
Albert Timmer
Kenny Van Hummel
Koen de Kort
Piet Rooijakkers
Fumiyuki Beppu
Simon Geschke
Jonathan Hivert
Cyril Lemoine
Thierry Hupond
I think this team goes for the breakaways. Maybe Van Hummel can surprise a few in the sprint. |

If Tom Boonen can’t take the start of the race, he will be replaced by Allan Davis. The other riders of Team Quick Step who will ride the Tour are: Carlos Barredo (Esp), Sylvain Chavanel (Fra), Steven De Jongh (Ned), Stijn Devolder (Bel), Jerome Pineau (Fra), Sebastien Rosseler (Bel), Matteo Tosatto (Ita) and Jurgen Van De Walle (Bel) |

So, basically, Rui Costa is in?
Our DS was supposed to call me to tell me the final decision, but he forgot. So I had to call him and he told me I'm going.
Of course I'm satisfied, I never expected to make the tour roster this year, especially for one of the strongest teams in the world

EDIT: Also, Columbia has officially announced their Tour team. No Burghardt. Grabsch is there instead.

well in an interview with Grabsch on the weekend he said Columbia will officially announce their tour team on monday. He sounded confident to be in it.
Seems they are targeting the TTT. Otherwise i dont understand the nomination. The first TT is to short for Grabsch. The last comes to late and is not that suited for him.
Columbia will not start as Columbia-High Road they have a new Co-Sponsor and are now Columbia - HTC from the tour onwoards.

Greatest quote on race radios ever, from Bernard Hinault:

Sprints primarily i'd say.
Grabsch did a good time trial in the Dauphiné and is world TT champ.
Of course the TTT is a goal, but secondary to sprints.

I know Colombia has a LOT of great riders and that, but let's not forget Grabsch is the reigning world tt champion, plus he recently won a tt in Dauphine and the german tt championship.
I would have been very dissapointed if that wouldn't be enough to make the tour team |

I've put my fantasy betting money on Lance Armstong for the TdF.
I don't know why...but I had an ungodly feeling that he was going to win it when looking thru' the names.
So, if the worst does happen, then there'll at least be an upside. |

It seems to me that Lance Armstrong is looking to convince everyone he can win the Tour so that if/when he struggles he can just hide behind the excuse of working for Contador. |

I want Armstrong to win, but who knows. He says on his Twitter, that if he isn't stronger than Contador, then he will be the strongest domestique ever. Which I believe. Will be like Leipheimer in 2007, only Lance will get 2nd and not 3rd. |

This morning i saw a new commercial on ESPN for him. It was basically shots cutting back in forth between him riding in a livestrong jersey, and cancer patients going through rehab. The narration over top was Lance speaking and what he was saying was to the effect of
"People call me headstrong, they call me a doper, and they call me washed-up. But I'm not doing this for them, I'm doing it for the people who are going through what I've gone through" (it wasn't exactly that but its close)
I almost destroyed the tv |

The cancer is a small reason why he's come back IMO.
Not the full reason like he says it is, but a bit of it.

Its not that, its the flair for the dramatic and the fact he needs to be in the spotlight. Also I'm sure the money the Livestrong foundation used to put on that commercial would make some cancer researcher very happy. |

It's also an excuse that he can fall back too if he doesn't do that well |

Notice i said small part, i think he is doing something for Cancer, for example at the Giro there was much money raced for the Livestrong thingy.
Look at the facts and past personal beliefs, the cancer campagining is there.
