Did you know that Flecha is from Argentina?
I´d never noticed that
It´s good to learn every day something special
RebellÃn too
RebellÃn was first called up to the italian national team only in 2006. If he hadn't been called up, he would've raced for Argentina.

Yeah, I was watching with friends and was saying how Haussler would be sporting and not sprint, boasting sligtly about how sporting cycling was and then he lets me down

Hushovds hand injury from the crash in RvV may have been one of the reasons he crashed. He said in an interview that his hand was all shaky after all the cobbled sections, he didn't have the same grip on his steering wheel. However, he did not say that this was the reason he crashed. We may never know.

I'm going to ask doddy to upload the race so you can see that Hoste and Van Summeren didn't relay and were in fact dropped by Hushovd. Only later Hoste made it back
I think Boonen deserved it. This was not the hardest way to win the race, but at that point you can't argue with him going flat out. To me it looked like Hushovd was just about to lose Boonen's wheel when he fell, but he would porbably had made it back - it seemed Thor was faster on normal roads. Nevertheless Boonen was the strongest, he made the race, the only favourite not afraid of going all out.
Edit: And yes, unsporting by Haussler, but seemed like Chavanel didn't care

well I have calmed down now..Boonen won..he was strong ?..yes.
But this wasnt a way I expected it..I was waching almost 4h. great classic Roubaix race..and then some guy wins it like this..when just before 5 "idiots" was waiting when he crashed..
No hard feelings agains Haussler..he had great ride and is amazing man..multi functional talent..he caused first serious split..and yes was not helping much Chavanel (another running month superstar).
Boonen was awesome, best classic rider of all time i think. Pozzato done really well. that was my first Paris- Roubaix ive watched and only the second classic ive watched, my first one was the tour of Flanders this year. I only used to watch the Tour de France but i will be watching my first giro and Veulta this yeat. Ive flicked on them a couple of times in past years.

best classic rider of all time
come on..this was 107. Roubaix edition..Google raiders like Hinault , Kelly, Merckx just for warm up...
lol, boonen best classic rider of all time? Merckx won 17 classics... boonen 5.. :/
Boonen can only win flanders and roubaix, and maybe san remo, tours or vattenfall on a lucky day. The best classic riders of all times could win both Flanders and Liege (Bartoli) and were more versatile and complete than Boonen, who is a pretty limited rider.
All i have to say is...hushovd delivered on his hype.

Hushovd was on Boonen's wheel....when he got up he was at 1:12. He ended up at less than one minute. Says a lot, doesn't it?
Well Boonen obviously didn't go as fast as he could once he arrived in the velodrome, so he might have lost 20seconds on that...
Hushovd had to take Hoste into account, he was on Hoste's wheel and Hoste is not going flat out with Hushovd on his wheel with two laps left on the velodrome...
