Nope, I was Saunier Duval
White Bear came from Barloworld
I never owned Ricco though, if thats what you were curious about. I can tell you his team history of you want it though.

In fact, why do we not have an "archives" section in the forum rules announcements bit, that lists every team from the start, and the progressions of those team names/managers. Would be kind of cool. More work would be to add team rosters (just names) for each team.
Obviously a lot of teams in the Teams HQ forum list all their previous riders and incarnations, but for some that have ceased to exist might be good to see how it all began... *plays spooky music... |

Funnily enough rjc, I did make an Excel file of that data earlier in the year. I was planning some sort of archive topic, but it got put on hold a little.
Ricco was drafted to Predictor-Lotto in 2007. A change of manager saw the team become Magenta Trefoil in 2008, and then Magenta All Stars in 2009. After the team was thrown out of the game, Ricco became a free agent and signed for White Bear in 2010.

Thx, was wondering as i'm deciding sponsorship for my team next year, and don't want to end up with anything unrealistic when looking at the man-game history.

Considering Waghlons team is currently sponsored by the Moon, amongst other things, I dont think theres such thing as an unrealistic transfer!

Yeah, but that's Waghlon...
Would be really nice to see an archive section, especially now with the previous teams and media forums hidden.

Has there ever been a team sponsored by Mapei in the man-game?

There was, but they washed out as well. Actually had quite a bit of talent but went unmanaged.

Well, I don't see why they couldn't make a come back, like Rabobank did last year

Agree with Alex... But I think you should make Kelme make a comeback to cycling. Or perhaps ONCE

A better example is Tinkoff this year. The original Tinkoff became Wikipedia, Oleg brought it back.
(Since Rabobank, like Euskaltel, never actually rode the 1st season due to extremely incompetent managers)

Depends how many teams we lose this season, and how many good applications there are. There wont be a fixed number
