People are joking when they "demand" that he post. And so many people calling for him to post as soon as possible is a sign of respect.

A small surprise as Valverde hasn't shown up for the tour. Neither has Carlos Sastre. Caisse seems to have placed their confidence in LL. Sanchez while CSC is going for Andy & Frank Schleck. Astana have all their aces here. Evans has Popovych with him and Menchov has both Dekker and Gesink. Another noteworthy name could be Mauricio Soler.

Let's have a look at our squad:
31. S.Sánchez
32. J.Agirre
33. J.Aramendía
34. M.Astarloza
35. A.Galdos
36. D.Galparsoro
37. M.Irizar
38. J.Oroz
39. I.Velasco

Sanchez will be our captain with Astarloza as his right hand man. We will try and keep Astarloza as high in hte GC as possible along the way. Having a two step attack could be very usable. Aitor Galdos is here to take part in the sprints, allthough we don't expect him to compete with the supersprinters of the tour.

We'll keep our expectations on par with our goal for now. Which is top 5 for Sanchez. Astarloza mentioned that the polkadot jersey could be one of his goals for this tour. But that depends on the situation for Sanchez.

Apart from these guys we've brought a little diversity. Not a lot of great climbers, mostly because of fatigue and having keep the Vuelta in mind.

Stage 1 coming up.

I get that but they are a bit wyning about it which I think isn't really a sign of respect for him.

@dadevilson: It depends how you read the post.. You could say that people are whining for new post and updates and so on but you could also say that people think that this story is really really good and therefore they CAN'T wait for the updates ..
There are different ways to interpretate the posts that "cries for new updates".. Grin

Tour de France - Stage 1
img168.imageshack.us/img168/2325/pcm0017wy3.jpg

Welcome to france! Stage 1 of the tour is a sprinterstage. The finish is uphill though so we could see a puncheur take it today. The tour this year has no prologue, so the winner today will take the leaders jersey.

100km to go and Kroon and Gilbert are out in front. A few smaller groups are scattered between them and the peleton. It's relatively easy going this far.
img440.imageshack.us/img440/6413/pcm0002io1.jpg

The wind is ppretty rough today, 60 in some sections and it's causing a lot of nervousness in the pack. Somehow Gerdemann slides of the peleton and is out in front too with 63km to go. The peleton is going fast now though.
img503.imageshack.us/img503/1466/pcm0003sl1.jpg

33km. Gerdemann is caught and only a few remnants of the initials break remains in front. It will be a sprint for the yellow jersey.
img520.imageshack.us/img520/1999/pcm0005qe9.jpg

18.7km to go, coming up on the last little hill before the finish. We'll try and have Gadlos and Sanchez up for the sprint.
img168.imageshack.us/img168/6852/pcm0008mj7.jpg

3600m to go, Sanchez is on the wheel of hushovd, Galdos is on the wheel os Sanchez. On the right side some of the Puncheurs are setting up on the right side.
img136.imageshack.us/img136/4514/pcm0013nu2.jpg

1200m, Kirchen and Schumacher lead tje sprint. They don't look like they will be caught! Zabel cannot follow them on the hill!
img254.imageshack.us/img254/6489/pcm0014vp2.jpg

Schumacher takes takes stage 1. The german will be in yellow in the morning!
Kirchen takes 2nd, Fedrigo takes 3rd!

I always sim national champs. I dunno why, but i don't like having an effect on it for some reason.. i know it's a bit strange. But i like it best when it's not in my hands.

Edit: But Freire took it
