I dont also dont see problem with Barguil winning super-combativity, he is doing mirecles with his attacking style this year. And unlike Conta (sorry Shonak) or De Gendt can even suceed in the end.

True. But still, I think De Gendt definitely deserves it, too. If not only for this year than for other years. He's always on the attack and has less to show for than Barguil or Contador.
I don't know, I'm biased because I really appreciate De Gendt and think he's an honest and good guy. It would be a great award for him to show for his entire career: oh look Thomas won supercombativitée. Yup, makes sense.

Contador is in between breakaway and GC, he could have lost more time and maybe wouls have gotten happy with a stage, but alas, Barguil is a phenomenon this tour and imo the only romight choice atm

So many riders of the podium contenders in the break, hopefully this means fireworks (probably not)

De Gendt has been active but not super-combativité worthy. Barguil for me as well.
Barguil is quickly developing into this generation's Virenque |

Barguil is just a Top5 contender that majorly fucked up his first week. A guy that has been rather strong to compete with the best on the Galibier stage doesn't really impress me by winning a stage from the break.
Contador lighted up the race, and so did de Gendt. Barguil just for most time wasn't te initiator of moves, just the strongest of a group which isn't my interpretation of the most competitive...

I hope AG2R and Cannondale won't let the break go far away. If they want to take as much time as possible from Froome today, those bonus seconds at the end could be of crucial help.

Cycling was already more conservative in the 90's (the EPO era) than 80's. Then more conservative in 00's (compared to 90's). And more conservative in 10's (compared to 00's)

Maybe :/
Not a great stage for the final mountain day
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

This is the perfect example why the Tour will never be like the Giro no matte what the route looks like. Riding to safe the 15th GC-place and maybe some tv-time. |

Pathetic from Bora.
Defending a 15th place? Seriously?
