A confounding transfers related question!
With less than 48 hours to go now, any FA bids opened will go to the 'auction' style closing system if I understand correctly. If you wanted to purchase a rider and then loan them out is this now possible. How would you do it technically - list the loan thread as per usual in the expectation of signing the rider?
Thanks!
Tough one. My gut says that you cannot in fact loan the rider out, but I'm sure either SN or roturn could rule on that one.
I would guess/interpret exactly the same.

Kenya's top talent Salem Kemboi finally sealed. Will be a great rider once maxed, both in sprints and prologues:

My transfers are now finally done as well. I am quite happy with the final outcome - I have sold 4 my best time trialists (Sergent, Hepburn, Atkins and Ghyselinck) and a really decent rider in Kratochvila, on the other way I have brought in some decent riders/talents like Cink, Habtom, Koshevoy, Sakalou, Raileanu, Eaton and Prado + 2 decent stagiares Kaczmarek and Gogl. But in overall my core of the team stayed with no big changes and possibly there is still some training coming for some of my better riders.

Isostar - Adriatic is also ready to rumble! Hopefully the mash-up of old leaders, mediocre talents and regional domestiques will deliver and bring us at least in the Top 15 of the GC standings.
It will be also interesting if the tactic of spending my whole loan cap on loaning riders out, but not loaning in anyone, will turn out to be well. If we can contend for promotion that would be a big boost to our squad next year, getting 3 ready captains back in season 2.

I don't have a good overview of the CT rosters, but usually such a team should challenge for Top 5 with good race selection imo.

Goodnews Clifford might be the best name in the management game, so glad someone is going to sign him

The Goodnews is his stats aren't actually that bad (for CT). Should feature in breaks a fair bit, giving reporters plenty of opportunities for cheesy one-liners!

And that's my team done! Moscon and Bonifazio horribly overpayed, so let's hope they'll accept a good cut next season. Got quite some talents signed, might post a full team if I find the time tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good news! After I had to pay a lot to keep in the fight for Konovalovas I gave up my plans to sign Goodnews, now he still found a home

You still have a chance to sign Goodyear though.

While it would appear to be good news for Goodnews, this transfer period not promising such a good year in prospect for Goodyear

Has anyone got a database they have been updating themselves before the official one is released that I could please have a look at? I'd be very grateful.

Kind of off-topic but Im thinking of saving around 1.5mil to carry over for next years budget, but Im not sure if its worth it or not, as I've never really paid attention to how much I saved and how much I got the year later in previous seasons.
Im guessing an exact number or even a "ballpark" (as Scorchio said in another thread) isn't allowed to be shared, but would I get a good amount of that back next year or is it a small percentage?
If discussing this isn't allowed, please delete this post.
