Tired of stating the same over and over again, but...
Valverde is just proving once again that he is the best rider of his generation. What a rider. Hala!!! |

You had one job lads and you still managed to give it to Valverde. Freakin' Alaphilippe though man!

Valverde made everyone look amateur. Does it all himself. |

Lucky bastard. Valverde was lucky, he was really dumb there, but no one had the legs there.

Everybody races against Valverde and he still wins. This is no luck. This is class.

Alaphilippe was not in very good position, he was damn fast in the end, almost smashed Costa.

Purito should have won that. He was comfortably in group whole day. Maybe its just his age. Anyway maybe Moreno should be protected for future one day races by Kathusa. |

Another brilliant win by the brilliant Alejandro Valverde. It is going to be a sad day when he retires from Cycling

Valv.Piti made this more difficult for himself by not bridging Moreno immediately though. Doesnt matter now but it couldve mattered. |

Could have been interesting if Alaphilippe did not have to come from so far back in the sprint. No one could knock Valverde off even after playing poker and forcing him to chase down Moreno, so a hard earned victory for the Spaniard.

I think Purito was strong, but he is not the guy, that should win against Valverde and Alaphillipe in a sprint. He was the only one who really could follow Valverde.

Monstrous performance by Alejandro. I thought he had blown it when he dragged the rest up to Moreno, but he was just a beast anyway. His most impressive Liége so far.
Edit: Oh, and the Norwegian commentators are horrible. Just as the sprint to the line happening, they were depressed that Nordhaug lost contact with the group, and just mentioned Valverde in passing as he crossed the line.
