Oh, and can anyone tell me WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE COBBLES IN TOUR D'ALSACE STAGE 2???!!!
Simulated and lost 3 minutes I never made up with Herklotz...
That's a good question.
They aren't there. Maybe Herklotz just crashed?
Also, I'm frustrated now as well.
One of the signings I aimed for, actually the ideal signing, decided to last-minute extend his contract a few days before the transfers starts.
I was talking about Martin Reimer, strong on the flat, good TTist, especially prologue, and a very good sprinter. Argh, need to find a replacement now, he was just perfect

Reimer was on my list as well, but he prolonged early and honestly, with the way I like to play Conti teams, 26 is already too old
It was scattered groups all over the place exactly like in a cobbled race, and as it is flat rated and the first riders are cobble specialists and not puncheurs, it obviously was simulated as cobbled stage.
Herklotz develops as stage racer, blame the DB maker for giving him such high TT
(I actually lowered it to 67, but the stat limits remain)

Your already into July Jesleyh? I'm at thd end of March still.
Almost, only NCs to go. Though I haven't participated in that many races, I'm not going for promotion, and felt like I just had too few cyclists to participate in 2 races at a time, so no clashed races.
But hey, Cio is in August
@Cio Yeah, I get what you're saying, 26 is a bit old for CT. But those young riders can use a mentor
And I think that Herklotz develops in a stage-racer in my career as well, even though I lowered his TT as well(even before game ). At least he got up 1 MO & 0 HI...

Allright, time to present LKT's new signings(just because I feel like).
Dominik Nerz(23) My most important signing. Got 72MO+72HI, and also 71TT. A very complete guy for the mountains & TTs. (AVG 71)
Harry Kraft(22) A sprinter with a decent skill to TT as well. 72SP & 68TT. Poor downhill though, and not so strong over hills, so the flat sprints only will be his. (AVG 70)
Markus Hoelgaard(18) A beast on the flat(on CT level that is -> 69). A fighter, good downhiller(68) & sprinter(68), and okay over hills(67). Great in attacking(74) though. Oh yeah, he can cobble as well, but we won't use that, hell no, we hate cobbles . Germany didn't have this type of rider, so we made an exception for him. (AVG 69)
Michael Büssers(21) Neo-pro Nr.1. He's a good climber(70), good over hills(69) and decent TT(66) and ACC(68). I didn't see that he was 21 yet( ), but lets hope he still has the potential to be the next German GT winner (AVG 68)
Julian Sadlo(19) Neo-pro Nr.2. Sprinter(68). He's a good downhiller(68). He will be leadout, and later maybe leader, if he develops as good as I hope. (AVG 67).
Leaving guys:
Robert Bartko(37)(AVG 66) - Too old. Maximilian Stier(19)(AVG 63) - Not having the level this team wants, and not really having the potential to get that level.

How'd you manage Nerz? That's a quality signing to right thar.
Yes it is, I was really happy that he was okay with it.
I signed him for 5800 Euro's/month, a little bit more than he earned at BMC. That could've been decisive. And of course, he signed as leader.
Though don't underestimate the CT at the French Community DB, he definitely won't win every race he enters. He could be key for promotion though.

Don't underestimate any CT. Team U25 certainly isn't weak. Nerz should bring you far, as he develops well too. Nerz(not on my team), got 82MO by 2018.

Key for promotion? Hell yeah, just win Bayern Rundfahrt with him
A basically similar Herklotz won me that plus some 2.2 races.
I assume he has a decent sprintas well, so all the late Italian classics are a good choice too.
Hmm, not sure if this DB gives him a lot of potential. We'll see.
And nah, his sprint is 60, so late Italian classics are meh. Bayern - Rundfahrt will suit him well I think, with a long TT and a hilly stage. Might take Tour of California on the way. Löfkvist won it in my game, so Nerz has a shot on a Top 10 I guess. Allright, we'll see next season. Promotion won't be easy, especially since f.e. Sayar developed like a rocket to 76 MO(Clearly found some new doping).
Well, then up his sprint. He's often in the Top20 in lesser WT sprint stages, and quite often the last leadout for Wyss or Lodewyck.
65 is easily justified.

I'm pretty sure Hoelgaard is norwegian
He is? Holy shit, I signed a Norwegian
(Not that I dislike Norwegians, just that I only wanted Denmark if Germany didn't have a cyclist I want).
On rankings, Huzarski is in 3rd place with König also in the top 10, in 7th. In the CT ranking where 2nd, behind Androni (wich halve of their team points is Pellizotti's) and in CQ Ranking where in 18th overall, 3rd in terms of CT teams.

Also, I just rode the most awesome stage of PCM, the Tour of Japan stage 4. A 26km mountain stage up to Mt. Fuji. And yes, it's supposed to be like that, in real-life, it's even a 10km mountain stage, but they made it 26km to make it playable
I'd love to play that stage! But I can't find it in PCM... did you get it from a community pack or so? I climbed Mt. Fuji a couple years back (not on a bike though) so totally wanna play that stage! Brings memories back.
Anyway playing a CT team sounds fun I think I'll try that out for my next career.
Meanwhile I'm second from the wrong side of the rankings with IAM at the beginning of May. Only Euskaltel behind me. But OGE, Lampre and VCD are in reach.
I seriously hope I can get some points from GTs with Majka.. he'll start his season at Tour de Suisse and then TDF&Vuelta. Till now I haven't been able to get even 1 point from GCs in spring Best result was like 13th. And the classics didn't turn out that well either.. so yeah fight against relegation is on!
Yes, it's in the French Community DB.
But here's the Mt.Fuji stage, I uploaded it for you https://www.mediaf...nstage.rar
Just replace it for a TdF stage in CM_Stages or so to play it. (Or call them top_tdf_01_Mt-Fuji, so you won't overwrite the file but you can play it as a variant in the stage-race mode )
Battles against relegation are always fun. Especially if you win the battle
Thanks a lot! Just downloaded it. Might get the French community db too, but I'm kinda waiting on the PCMdaily one though...
