You'll find out quite soon, in half an hour max
Thanks, Roelandts had a great daily form and just kept on sprinting |

Finishing fourth in Ronde Van Vlaanderen is a great result when you look at the talent that was in front of him |

Paris - Roubaix
This is the profile of my dreams. Cobblestones and flat. Let's see what Boonen could do against me here! Would he do the double for the second time in his career?
The breakaway was easily formed but never gained much time on the peloton. they wouldn't be important today.
The weather was good, and I felt even better. So before the race we agreed that I'd be the absolute leader for today, with Roelandts working for me. Roelandts, a strong rider, excellent sprinter but not quite the cobblestone rider as he'd expected to turn out, was a brilliant help today for me!
With 40km left to go and a peloton consisting of 20 man, I only had Roelandts left.
Then Boonen attacked, Ballan followed!
I knew I had to go with them, since I couldn't count on Cancellara for chasing them (he can't chase his team-mate). So I tried to latch on, and succeeded.
So with 5 more cobbled sections, it was Boonen, Ballan, Breschel, Flecha, Hushovd and myself.
I (carefully) tried to stir things up a bit more on the cobblestones.
But nobody cracked and it looked like we were going to the Velodrome with the six of us.
And so we did...
VICTORY!
My wildest dream has come true, I'm standing on winner's place on the podium in the Velodrome in Roubaix. What a beautiful final that was, what a sprint against Boonen, what a speed!
And so I win my very first (hopefully not last) Monument, my first Paris - Roubaix, my first collector's item in the Legendary Collection!

Cancellara, Boonen & Flecha, probably the 3 strongest cobblestone riders... well, until Stijn came along

Thanks, I felt he was going to win so I took many shots
Now he's finally a real Flandrien (or does he have to win Vlaanderen to be a real Flandrien? )!

1. Great reports!
2. I really think the results are not normal. A rider in his 2nd year as professional wins Gent-Wevelgem, gets 4th in Vlaanderen and now wins Paris-Roubaix.... Or you must have given him extraordinary high stats, or you play on a too low level. And too be honest, that makes the story less interesting to follow.
See for yourself what you're gonna do with this, it is just my humble opinion.

@PCM rulezz: Yeah, I had just finished the race when I read your comment you ask, I deliver
@fernando97: Thanks a lot
@baggieboys32: I think he's 23 now, or something. I made them quite young because of 2 reasons:
1. the story can go on for a long time, more than 10 seasons if possible.
2. I like going for Young Jerseys.
@dienblad & mailo: I'm glad you like the reports, at least
I understand your criticism, but I'll just say a couple of things:
1. It's a story/game, so in my opinion some things can happen that could never in real life.
2. I wanted to make a story about 2 guys really writing history in cycling. So they're toptalents. I took a guess about their starting abilities and the speed of development. I agree that I wanted to build up more, but that's just the way it's gone.
3. Now's too late to change anyway, they can't go back to being less good after this, that'd be weird, I think.
Unless everyone feels this way? But I'm looking forward to seeing if Stijn can beat the record of De Vlaeminck, if he can do the quadruple etc... May not be too realistic, but those are things I had in mind for him. He won't win everything every time, definitely not, he had an excellent run this season, won't always be like this! But I think you know what I mean.
@ricotero_uy: Thanks a lot Stijn goes on a little break (he deserves it) while Eric will now ride the 4 hilly classics, as a domestique for Jelle Vanendert.
@ste_18: Defeating Boonen in Velodrome in a sprint is a fantastic experence However, his sprinting stats have decreased quite a bit, I have to admit

I hope you can still find a challenge for these riders if they are this good already. Might become boring for you. Or they will become too expensive and leave your team |

@Blueprint: That's why I made him a sprinter as well as a cobblestone rider. He has many challenges left, winning Tour stage, for example, or the Green Jersey. Dont' worry about me, I'll never get bored. I just hope I won't bore all of you.
As for Eric, he's far from the world top. He might've won Tirreno - Adriatico (quite close), but he's far from taking on Contador in the Tour. It's true that Eric has already achieved world-class level at the cobbled races, but Eric has a longer build-up, I believe.
@JuanMotr: I'm glad you like it, man I have a feeling I'll always have a follower in you for this story
@FreitasPCM: Indeed

Hey, it's your story, so just do what you want to do. It was just feedback, not telling you or suggesting you to change stats. A story can get boring to follow if you win a lot, but when your rider is a world class cobbler, it is expected to get a lot of wins.
So good luck with it, and I'll keep on following

I'm glad you will keep following
But don't worry, Stijn won't keep on winning. However, sprinters do win more races than other type of riders, so he'll win more than Eric
I don't like pure domination myself, but I found the wins in the four cobbled classics very deserved and it wasn't easy/dominating |

Criticism is criticism, its just one of those things that you learn to live with, people are allowed there views
But don't let it worry you, your story is brilliant and i for one love the way it is going so keep it up |
