Im not saying he is the worst TT'er ever. But he will lose time in the TTT for sure. In his Team are good climbers but for Time Trial they are not the best ones. In the TTT they are not going to be in the top 6 for sure. I dont think they are going to be faster than Astana, BMC, GreenEDGE, Lampre-ISD, Liquigas-Cannondale or Sky. And in the last ITT I dont think he is going to do it better than Basso or Scarponi. But maybe Im wrong. Who knows......
Androni finished 4th in the Trentino TTT, ahead of both Lampre and Liquigas. I promise you, that team is very strong. I think they'll beat Lampre again.
I told u the were going to do a bad TTT. Rujano allready losing 2:33 to the Race Leader, 2:03 to Rodriguez, 1:53 to Kreuziger 1:46 to Basso and 1:11 to Scarponi with still a ITT to go. He would have to attack like crazy in the mountains if he wants to win. |

As mentioned earlier Rujano punctured and his team lost about 30 seconds because of it.

Androni was ahead 15 seconds on ag2r 1st checkpoint and 27 at the 2nd. However rujano indeed punctured and they only had 1 second left in the final part. Realistically this means they atl east lost 26 seconds because of the puncture + the built up speed they had they would have probably gained another 10 seconds/15 seconds on Ag2R in the final part. So insteado f gaining 42 seconds on AG2R they gained only 1. So the REAL loss is 41 seconds....

The Point was even without the punctured the wouldnt have been faster than Lampre. Or do u think without the punctured they would be able to be faster than Lampre or win the TTT? |

No one ever said they were going to win the TTT. It's just ridiculous that you even bring it up.
Without the puncture they would've been ~ 30s slower than Lampre, who rode a bit better than I expected. That'd been a good result according to me.

My God, Phinney. Someone up there really doesn't want you in this Giro, just go home!

To quote Procycling about todays stage: "(...) this lump is unlikely to disturb the momentum of the sprinters (...) it's tailer made for them."
Honestly, I'm very surprised to see so many drop there.

It's time to retire for Hushvod if battered Cavendish out climbs you on a hill

Farrar actually showed some good signs in classics for a sprinter as well much younger, why Hushvod is one of most overpaid cyclists earning 2.5 million per year and doing absolutely nothing in cobbled classics

Maybe it has something to do with those pretty stripes on his jersey?

2 years ago, he's different cyclists now and overpaid too, no matter if he has the stripes, look at his cobble campaign this year

Forgetting something, are we? He was nowhere near his top form, due to sickness. On top of that he crashed out of Paris - Roubaix. Don't judge Hushovd on what he has done this spring, he was seriously set back because of the sickness.
That was enough with my Norwegian glasses on. This should be Cav's stage, no one should be able to touch him today. |

Okay Let's judge him now. The highest paid rider in the Giro gets dropped on 4th category hill... ( Cav deal is about 1.7 million those you wondering ) Let's hope he improves for the Tour then.

Cav wins again, with Goss in second and Bennati third.
