After an amazing racing day in Denmark we hope that another team-squad in Germany can persuade, too! We sent a team with puncheurs and sprinters. Our team-captain should be Peter Velits which is the best puncheur.I´m really curious about the race process cause when there´s is no serious attack at the last climbs it comes to a mass sprint where Matthew Goss and Reynes definitely have chances! The competition isn´t really hard but riders like Murn,Van Hecke,Nose and Geschke should have a chance, too.

So here we go!Once again if someone will attack on the last uphill sections, riders like Murn,Velits,Nose,Van Hecke and Geschke should be the favorites but we will see..maybe a mass sprint is possible when the sprinters will come over the climbs
There were some escapes but no important names! They were brought back to the peloton with more than 30 kilometres to go
And it was really strange ´cause there were no attacks! So it was clear that it will come to a mass sprint with Goss and Reynes
When they reached the last kilometre Matthew Goss was at Reynes´backwheel while Mares took the lead on the right side
On the last metres it looks like Goss missed the right moment to make his move!He was still behind and it seems that he has no chance to correct that
That´s it!Mares takes the win in front of?
Weissinger and Goss!Reynes becomes 4th after his lead-out for Matthew Goss

Stage 5 : Estavayer-le-Lac - Sante-Croix
The 5th stage should be the queen stage in Switzerland so it´s gonna be a hard fight for the leader´s jersey.Knees is wearing the yellow jersey at the moment but his distance to Sanchez is only 1 second so it´s a close tour.We really hope that Pinotti and Martin can defend their great overall positions
Benitez and Brutt were the best escapes today.Their biggest advantage to the pack was around 5 minutes but after the most KoM competitions they reduced their speed and so the pack could reach them quickly.Brutt could get another 26 points today while Benitez even took 28 but of course Brutt is the winner of this competition!
On the last climb of today´s stage Sanchez was the first one making a move with 14 kilometres to go
Moreno,Navarro and Siutsou tried to went after him
And at the top of this climb Tony Martin made his move but if he will reach Sanchez?
Martin could reach Navarro and Moreno but Sanchez was too fast on the downhill
Luis Leon Sanchez takes the stage win and the yellow jersey in front of?
Millar and Moreno while Martin became 5th 43 seconds after Sanchez

Stage 6 : Aubonne - Geneve
Today is the last stage of this race and it´s also the last racing day for Pinotti,Martin,Eisel,Siutsou and Cavendish before their first Grand Tour the Giro d´Italia! So the stage should be doable for our team if Cavendish or Eisel will sprint for the stage win isn´t sure ´cause they won´t risk anything before the Giro!
The pack kept the pace really high the whole stage so no escape could get away. And with only 7 kilometres to go Pinotti tried to attack and he could get a small gap
With only 4 kilometres to go he was still in front while Martin takes a good sprint position.Cavendish and Eisel aren´t in this big group anymore ´cause the stage was too fast and too hard for them
When the sprint begins Pinotti becomes slower and slower while Martin is in a good position just like Luis Leon Sanchez who really wants to sprint for the stage win today!
Pinotti has no chance today but still a good try by him while Martin is loosing speed, too!Sanchez takes the lead for the moment but if he can hold on his speed?
Yes he can! That´s a little surprise no sprinter but Luis Leon Sanchez takes his second stage win in a row!Great performance by him we will see if he is also riding the Giro next week.Tony Martin takes the 9th place today

4 Jours de Dunkerque
The first stage race in May is the 4 Jours de Dunkerque which is in France. We will see 6 stages with many chances for sprinters that means there are 4 sprinter stages;a time trial and a hilly stage. As I already said this is a great race for our team-captain at the Tour Maxime Monfort! He is our leader there and with Bak and Rabon he should have a good chance to get a podium in the overall! Our main contender is Monfort´s favorite rival in the last weeks Ruben Plaza. But there is also Barredo,Tarramae,Trofimov,Moreau,Fedrigo and Ballan. With Bonnet,Chavanel,Tom Boonen and our sprint-captain Mark Renshaw there are also great sprinters which will not take part in the Giro.So our goals are at least a stage win with Renshaw and a good overall position with Monfort and who knows?..maybe he can win this race?

4 Jours de Dunkerque
Stage 1 : Dunkerque - Dunkerque
The first stage in France is made for sprinters. As I already said there are some great sprinters at this tour such as Renshaw,Bonnet,Tom Boonen and Gasparotto.Probably Boonen should be the favorite but you never should underestimate Bonnet! It wouldn´t be the first time that he´s surprising us with an amazing sprint final
Nuyens was one of today´s escapes,he could take 12 KoM points and so he is wearing the jersey tomorrow
Our sprint train was the fastest with Roulston in front of Sieberg and Renshaw
But after Sieberg took the lead of our train we lost many metres to Boonen who seemed to be in a fantastic position
So we had only one chance that means Sieberg had to start the sprint for Renshaw really soon maybe to early?
In the last corner Renshaw was still in front but next to Sieberg came Bonnet with an amazing acceleration!Boonen was on the left side but it wasn´t his day
Well,Bonnet was too fast in the end so Renshaw lost the stage win on the last 2 metres! But still a good result for him while Sieberg even gets the 5th place behind Gasparotto and Boonen

Stage 2 : Coudekerque-Branche - Arques
After a close sprint yesterday by Bonnet and Renshaw we´re expecting another mass sprint today and of course a revenge of this duel
With only 5 kilometre to go it didn´t look great for us because we couldn´t see Renshaw! He was not able to follow Sieberg today while Boonen and Bonnet were in a good position for the sprint final
But like a flash Renshaw took another slipstream in the last second!Boonen and Bonnet were able to see him but if Renshaw can accelerate after this hard performance?
Well,Renshaw could but he cannot keep it up with the best today.Boonen,Geslin,Gasparotto and Bonnet are far in front
In the end it´s another close decision but this time between Bonnet and Boonen.I think Boonen was the fastest but the stage results says Bonnet takes his second stage win a row...well,I don´t think so..Renshaw got the 5th position in the end

Stage 3 : Bleriot-Plage - Bethune
After the second stage win by Bonnet yesterday we really hope to stop the French guy today!
With only 6 kilometres to go the pack was divided up into many groups because of the strong win there! Our team-captain Monfort,Sieberg,Roulston,Renshaw,Rabon and Bak could stay in the first group together with Bonnet,Gasparotto and Boonen
But then something strange happened to our team!Roulston our lead-out man was too fast for Sieberg and Renshaw!!No one could follow him while his day form was amazing
When the sprint begins Roulston was still in front by 15 metres.Boonen and Bonnet surely want to reach him
But it´s too late!!Roulston takes the surprising stage win in front of his actual sprint-captain Renshaw and Bonnet. What a coup for Roulston and our team!
