It's not so bad. For our Czech commentator are biggest favourites Freire and Hushovd ..

you apparently don't have much of a brain either
just kidding, I wanted to use that line on you. I'd love to see Gerrans win as well, unfortunately you have a better shot of seeing Portsmouth stay up this year... |

yeah, i know
that comment was more out of hope than realism, although with a bit of luck he might be able to pull off a top 10 finish.
The aussie team is pretty strong, with gerrans and evans leading the team, being helped by rogers, davis and o'grady...they could surprise a few people imo. Evans has a chance, but will probably finish second |

Why are Worlds RR so hard to call.. gah. I'm thinking an Italian will win, but we should be prepared for an upset IMO.

simon gerrans FFS!!!!
no, if its not an italian (fingers crossed), i think it could be sammy sanchez. he was peaking in the 3rd week of the vuelta, so if he can carry that across to todays race, i think he'll be a force to be reckoned with

Yeah; and the good thing is; the Belgian commentators know they've got a lot of Dutch audience, so they're looking quite a lot at Dutch riders too
Plus Flemish is fun to listen |

Interesting quote from Millar "The Spaniards are always a strong team, they ride as a team, wheras the Italians are a bit random, but at the end of the day all italian riders think of Number 1 (themselves)"

And Stefano Garzelli confirms what has been said in here: The hills aren't that difficult, but since there's no time at all to recover, it gets extremely tough. |

And they start!
The spanish kit is worse than awful.
How many laps now until a brazillian, a japanese, a bangladeshian and a malawian start a suicide break?
