and Lance eather does not now true meaning of word team..
He always had group of super strong riders on he's team under a strong dictatorship..they was there to help him to win another tour and do not have any ambition. guys who left this team.became a traitors.
He won tour with 8min. he has a guy in the team..named Heras ..who was stronger then even Beloki and be one of podium candidate. No way..know your place team-slave.
yeaah Alberto was ass and was atacking against he's own team mates...but never-ever Lance would have been team mate for Contador and working for him..Only old senile Ligget just kept saying..How perfect team mate Lance is..if he is not following Contador atack.
They both are great riders..and can be only team leaders.. |

Lance's teams were always his slaves at the Tour... and it worked.
But, Discovery channel/US Postal riders were leaders in other races... some of which Lance was even a helper for. Frankly, other then The Tour and maybe a tune up race (Dauphine Libere or Tour de Suisse), Lance was rarely the leader of the race... because he just didn't care.
Heck, Savoldelli won the Giro on Discovery.
So joining Radioshack to do something at the Tour... isn't a smart move. But if your aspirations lie ANYWHERE else... then being a "slave to lance" shouldn't be an issue. |

Contador stays at Astana, due to his contract wich is running untill the end of 2010.
Belgian papers say that there will be a transfer Boonen - Steegmans.
Boonen probably will race with a Katusha jersey and Steegmans back to Quickstep.

In other news: Janez Brajkovic's (aka Gianni) contract is running out by the end of the season. He says that he wants to follow Lance Armstrong to The Shack, but that he's also negotiating with other teams where he'll have a more important role (and finally getting the chance to ride the Tour, perhaps).
