Want a laugh... I found this from January
Christian councils may ban Tour de France
Published: 14 January 2009 11:40 | Changed: 4 February 2009 12:43
By Radio Netherlands Worldwide in partnership with NRC International
Christian councils in the south-west of the Netherlands which object to the Tour de France passing through their towns on Sunday July 4, 2010 can prevent the event taking place on the basis of the so-called Sunday Act, Dutch sports minister Jet Bussemaker said in response to questions from the fundamentalist Christian party (SGP) in parliament. The Sunday Act allows councils to ban "public amusements" on the Christian day of rest.
The Tour de France is due to start in Rotterdam next year. The first leg of the tour will pass through a number of towns in the province of Zeeland and on the islands in the province of South Holland which observe Sunday as a strict day of rest. The exact route for the race between Rotterdam and Antwerp still has to be negotiated with local governments.
Bussemaker said municipalities would not be forced to help organise the event.

More great news concerning ITV4 - they're showing live coverage for some of the stages. They are definately showing live coverage on Saturday and Sunday, but not Monday. Other than that there's really no way of finding out right now. I can't believe we now have live Tour de France on analogue/freeview in Britain

For people who's only access to Eurosport is via a dodgy stream on the internet though, it really is fantastic news |

I know i might watch the itv one as duffield gets on my nerves. He is way past it and sean kelly saying italian and numbers with 3 in annoy me Does it mean that bob roll etc from usa will be on itv4 as they take the coverage form versus i think as liggett and shervin do the usa vewrsion too as i watched the tdf in america when i went on hol there and the americans are silly. They have 5 panilests and ask who they think is going to win and one guy just loved friere (this is 2 years back) every flat stage and another just said an american rider |

I don't think an announcement has yet been made on whether he or Di Gregorio gets a place. |

Burghardt seems to have been taken out of the Columbia squad all of a sudden.
Still waiting on confirmation

It seems seven tour de France victories doesn't buy you any class either.
