Is the work hard. I don't get very good marks already. Because of lack of studying. Night before the tests. And 2 nights for exams. I mean 2 weeks. Yeah.

Not at my school. I'm just too lazy to get good grades in the harder classes. I go to a community college in Santa rosa. $26 per unit, which is the lowest in the nation and you can transfer to pretty much any UC if you get decent grades.

Now thats a great price. I'll consider this as this could be a start to my dream of travleling across the globe. How is the hockey down there? (Big part of my decision).
Edit: And of course I could cycle there.
And in BBall the Kobe show is about to end.

Thats true. Good enough for me. Except going to a Sharks game doesn't mean I'm cheering for them. Oh and you've got the Raiders, Chargers, and Compton- the supposed home of many rappers.

I won a race this evening. My team put 3 guys on the front in the last lap, around the mile or so course which is a mixed bag of 2 long straights and very technical sections at the top and bottom with a short hill thrown in. I lost position in at the top of the course when it narrows up for a chicane and on the back straight another of my teammates pulled me back into the top 5, by the second set of chicanes. through the last corner I was 5th with a teammate on the front with about 400 meters to go and I took off as soon as we straightened up from the corner. It was the longest winning sprint in the history of the course. no-one has ever gone from the last corner and won in a bunch sprint.

My brother was 3rd in Estonian U23 ITT. Was a murderous route, 3x14km, each lap had a steep short hill (about 12%) and a longer (10%). Most riders had cramps in the end.
Edit: With that time would have been Elite 6th.

Congrats, Levi
I took 14th yesterday in my home race with some cobbelstone sections. I could have done better, because i had a bad start and rode some kilometres behind the main group before i was able to join again, but i´m satisfied with the race

To all Brits - I intend to make a British Domestic db of some form for PCM10. So if you want to be in it (warning, the stats may end up pretty random ), send me the name of the team youre in, a rider list with approximate DOBs, and a few pics of the jersey. You can even give some indication of who is better at what if you like, and if you tell me which one you are, ill make you the team leader

Was watching Estonian championships today. 13x 13,3km, Jaan Kirsipuu organized a break of 10 on the first lap and it made it. Unfortunatelly my brother missed it, finishing 19th 20 minutes later.
Kriit took it, Kangert second. I have a feeling it was a deal between them because Kangert's club was not very happy when he took the ITT champion jersey.
It was a real hot day. My brother started with a orange jersey, by the end it was quite white.

finished 7th in a TT today. First race on my TT bike, with Borrowed disk and 404 equivalent. It was 20k, rolling terrain near the pacific coast, and there was some crazy wind gusts, whereever the course wasn't sheltered (which was about 18k) Winning time last year for my category(faster than the pro's winning time) was 25:06, with no wind, 100 degree F. This year gusts of 25-30mph (cross headwind on the way out, cross tailwind on the way in (more cross than either tail or head(AND around 54 degree F))) fastest time for my category was almost 2 minutes slower I was 29 even which I am pleased with because I haven't done a TT in almost a year and never with more than clip on bars, cosmics and a borrowed aero helmet on a windless, flat 10 mile course were I went 15th at 25:10, with a fastest time of 21:34.
AND I won a prize for finishing with a middling time which is a Lactate Threshold test. I'm calling it the mediocrity award, but my carpool and ex-teammate was 2nd and only got $25.
That was the most fun I have had in a long time and with a little practice in pacing (I did the first half in high zone 3 and didn't really kill it till I saw the 2k to go sign) I think I could win some of these.

After a TT this weekend I am leading for my states Time Trial Cup championship. I am horrible at TTs but I have been consistent enough to be leading with only one race remaining

It's not racing, but I climbed a hill around here yesterday, that will be used as a TDF stage finish next year, it's official since last Saturday apparently. I should report more about that murderous hill one of these days. |
