Are you sure that's right? If so he doesn't have zero chance against Basso like I thought....he has negative chances...

So what happened to Anton? I saw him standing there on the downhill, someone said his bike had been across the railing, so im guessing he must have crashed. But it didnt look that serious.

If it's true it's....low.
1. At his Giro level. More proof that his "I was at the beach I'm not in form" was bullshit;
2. Much weaker than he and several others did last year.
3. This year everyone is weaker than last year. I wonder...

That was a sick stage I was so fucking angry at the spectators, it's a miracle that they didn't create a crash. Yeah Cunego actually did a good climb today even thogh he couldn't follow the best.
And somehow after today's stage I don't see Contador as a helper for Lance |

A few more years gaining power and experience, and he'll be battling for the win |

He definitely needs power. The TTs show he has less than the others and he's much much heavier. He'll need a few years allright. 3-4, maybe more.
We'll see

i thought valverde did a reasonable ride really. I honestly thought he'd lose a lot more time than he did.
But great ride by Contador, the winner of the vuelta (barring disaster)
