Also rumoured are Philip Deignan, Roger Hammond, Dan Lloyd and Heinrich Haussler

Im starting to like this team more and more
When I first heard of the team, I thought it was going to be the type of team I hate (see Team CSC). But the way the team is looking (Sastre, Hushovd, etc.) leading and a core of young, solid (and extremely British) domestiques could make it a great team (especially for PCM). |

Columbia "named" a provisional 2009 team
There aren´t named :
Wiggins (Garmin?) , Klier (Cervelo?) , Scott Davis (?) , Roger Hammond (Cervelo?) , Knaven (?) and Gerald Ciolek (?)
New are Renshaw and Michael Albasini |

Wiggins to Garmin was confirmed about a week ago
Meanwhile, CyclingWeekly have said that Bellis joining CSC-Saxo Bank for next year is a confirmed deal - and Hugh Porter has been mentioning that a few times in the Tour of Britain commentary.
Also, Ben Swift rumoured to be going to Katusha.

Strange I didn't see anything, but thats great. Maybe next year at the tour Garmin will take a top three in the prolouge(if they have one), with Vandevelde, Wiggins, and Millar. |

They have signed Zaugg, Szmyd and Basso but they have lost the one rider they had that could have something to say in the spring classics...

A certain Pozzato
But with Basso, they now have the chance of winning the Giro - maybe also the Vuelta? |

Basso won't be allowed in the Tour so I'm guessing they will do like Astana did with Contador and take Basso to the Giro and Vuelta.

Hushovd has said that he was very close at signing with CSC, but since they couldn't promise him that they would "fight" for the green jersey he decided to go for Cervelo Test Team instead.
Also, not very surprisingly, Riis said that they reason why Sastre decided to leave was that CSC would focus on more captains (like this year) in 2009, whereas Sastre wants the entire team to work for him now. |

I don't think it's been mentioned yet : L'Hôtellerie will very likely join Cervélo too.
Sébastien Hinault will join AG2R, whereas Sébastien Joly will stay at FDJeux (he was supposed to join AG2R, but they signed Hinault instead). |

Its hard to comment on what the team will be like by jsut looking at a list of riders. Some riders may lift their game and the team may be rather strong. Also whats the problem with following a similar pattern to CSC, they are the best Pro Tour team, naturally all teams would like to be as succesful as them. |

According to Velo Club, Mathias Frank has signed with CSC. The team's press guy denies the rumour, though. |

Can't remember if I've said this before but of anyone on Gerolsteiner, Mathias Frank is definitely one of those I would like to see on CSC (hee-hee-hee) the most. Oh, and yes, I am a CSC-fan
Mathias Frank is a huge climbing talent and, just dreaming, Chris Anker and Mathias Frank could be a great duo. Moreover, on a shorter term, Frank would just be a great mountain support. The rumours about Frank and also Zberg have been circulating in a week and especially the Frank-rumour has been very persistent. I'm hoping!
Never.
