When will the Vuelta a Burgos be posted, it was supposed to finish before the start of Eneco. Or have I managed to miss it completely?
Bikex will do it, but he's a bit busy with ICL, so there's a bit of delay. Same with Selwink who's busy with university, but Pologne is coming. USAPCC, Varesine, DFV and Vuelta should also start soonish.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Indeed. I've already cropped the startlist for Poland. Will look up the official profiles on the internet. Now just hope the wifi in the train works tonight.

Reports and preview will not be of the usual length/detail due to factors like time and internet bandwith.
Preview
The USAPCC is designed for the classic GC rider, who can handle both mountains and timetrials. With the startlist at hand that means that anything less than a won from Van Garderen should be considered a failure!
Rolland should be able to challenge him on the climbs, but will lose time on the TT for sure.
Other strong climbers are names like Andy Schleck, Kiserlovski, Pozzovivo, Lewis and two outsiders for a top result in Talansky and Po-Ding who both have a strong TT to back up their ambitions. Those two and Tejay are also the top favourites for the TT’s
For the flat stages we have exactly 0 of the top sprinters here making Applonio and McDermott the favourites in a bunch sprint challenged by names such as Arndt and Sinkeldam, who for once won’t have to ride for one of the world’s best sprinters. Von Hoff, Schnaidt and Van Stayen will also be dreaming big here.
Apart from the already mentioned youngsters we have a number of EPIC talents present. The full list is:
Jamel Johnson, Jose Alberto Juárez, Drago Di Silvestro, Josh Burton, Jordan Lewis, Kim Po-Ding, Erik McDermott and Maxime Oget.

I think after California Talansky should be a bit more than just an outsider....

Excuse me for not having quite as much confidence in Tejay as you do. Yes, he should win. Easily. But we all know what the AI is like.
California is a great indicator of Cyanide's magnificent work and still haunts me to this day.

Maybe Daniel Schorn and Blaz Jarc can make something happen in one of the sprints.

Those dropped at the Eneco Tour make good reading for RadioShack.
-- We have a goal of a top10 in GC at the USAPCC, based on that preview we should do it. But, I am weary that breakaways usually take the GC win here..... |

With JJ and Fabian here, we have outsider chances in both climbs and sprints. We'll see what we can get out of that.

Eneco Tour, Stage 5
Cance Territory, but who will challenge him for the victory and maybe overall win? Phinney, Thomas, Durbridge are listed as great contenders, Pennarossa might be your bet if you want to see a EPIC youngster on the podium. And for guys like Gilbert and Vanmarcke it will be vital to minimize losses today.
The cameras ain’t on air yet but it is reported that Lars Boom, last year’s winner, took best time for now. After yesterday’s stage, where Belkin rode against him and he was left to struggle on his own in a 100 peloton, he surely rode with lots of rage in his legs.
At least in this prologue-styled Time Trial, Boom shows that he would have been the smarter choice. 18 seconds lead already on his captain Vanmarcke, and Boom still holds number one spot with over 60 riders left to pass through. In the finish, Vanmarcke eventually ends up with a time loss on Boom with 39 seconds.
Durbridge with a stunning ride is the first to come even close to Boom and eventually, outmatches him on the intermediate with a time of 11’16, 3 seconds superior to Boom. However, Durbridge loses in the second half and with zero seconds gap, he lands second behind Boom.
Pennarosa with a fantastic ride at the intermediate. 9 seconds behind Phinney, around Boom territory. He keeps the pace, though loses like Durbridge in the second half a few seconds onto Boom. 3rd place for now, 4 seconds behind the Dutch.
TimeTrial Machine Phinney heads into the finish. A dominat performance sees him at the top step for now, with a time of 17’19``, a total of 12 seconds ahead of Boom on a 13 TT course.
Swiss TT champ is on the road like a clockwork (lame joke!). In the first 3 kilometers, he is already fast enough to spot Nikias Arndt (ARG), not a bad time trialist himself. This attitude of winning directly shows itself in the race as he comes close to the intermediate. Geraint Thomas, Lieuwe Westra and Durbridge have each 5 seconds gap on Phinney there, but when Cance’s flies threw, they can add an additional 6 seconds to that. Cancellara ahead of Phinney with 5 seconds.
Shortly after Cancellara, Boasson Hagen comes even closer to the current best time. 3 seconds behind the 4 time gold medalist.
Gilbert has been riding great so far, very active, however (you may not see) it started to rain and this surely doesn’t benefit his long-term goal of winning Eneco Tour. Meanwhile, his teammate Phinney lost by 2 seconds to Cancellara in the finish. Boasson Hagen is around 9 seconds behind the Swiss. Gilbert has a gap of 8 seconds at the intermediate, 24 seconds in the finish.
A picture for all the former breakaway triumphants, Löwenherz at the starting ramp. 45 seconds at the intermediate is already enough to crush his dreams as expected, unfortunately it gets even worse. More Prologue training in the future Löwenherz! Someone who profits from his solid prologue lessons is Johan Le Bon. FDJ's rider takes over the race lead as he only loses 30 seconds to Cancellara.
Pennarosa thus is the best EPIC youngster of the day, whilst Cancellara wins the stage. Johan Le Bon takes over the leader’s jersey from his fellow french Chainel.

Kakhi with already 2:20 behind is an absolute outsider for the GC now, I'd say. But still, he can grab a stage win or a good GC position through a attack. So, be brave!

He's not even a minute behind the actual GC battle. Still dangerous unless the cobbles are ridden hard. Of course, I'm hoping they are.
