Well, hate to say "i told you so" but as i said Contador wont win the tour with such a weak team.
So congrats Nibali, now its all yours to lose.
Its Stage 5. Contador has won the Tour in the past with a similar team.
Sure, but not when he loses over 3-4min to a guy like Nibali.
Nibali won't lose that in the mountains to Contador, and with Fuglsang and the Astana team Contador won't stand a chance alone. |

You have to hand it to the race organises, what a great move adding this stage into the race. It has really set it up for a great couple of weeks ahead

What about that fucking polka dot jersey Lemoine that everybody's ignoring.
It's surprising, but he did well in the spring classics this year. |

Kwiatek will take yellow is my guess from here. With Froome out and Nibali gaining time, the mountains should be amazing now.
How did you come to that? Nibali will just do a Evans now and sit and wait for Contador to attack.
The tour is pretty much over for the GC today, Contador is finished.
Its Dauphine all over again except this is on the 5th stage of a 3 week race.
Valverde, Mollema, Talansky, Porte, Pinot, VdB, TVG as well as Contador. Then there are guys like Barder, Costa, Horner, Porte, Konig, Navarro, Schleck, and Peraud.
2min isn't safe as long as Contador isn't injured imo.
