Stage Three of Langkawi
With todays stage being hilly due to the finale rising about sea level, Jollet wouldn't stand a chance of getting points, let alone any good placing on the stage. So we decided his best bet of a jersey would be to go out in a break and take enough points on the intermediate sprints to take the jersey away from Hushovd.
So, with loyal thoughts, Jollet went away, and ended up winning one, and coming 2nd in the other two sprints.
It was all over for him at the bottom of the hill, and he went back out the bunch faster then the speed of sound.
Caucchioli then led the attacks, with Martinez following for Auber.
He would hold out for the win, and Martinez took back a few seconds to make up for his lost time behind the crash on day one.

Well done, your story is great. I do agree that the editing was nessesary, and i dont think it was a bad thing. Sometimes you need to edit to keep the juices flowing. I mean if you start to get bored you can edit and you have a whole new game. If you had not got promoted your story would have been samey, but now its a whole new kettle of fish! I like the final signing and vaunregaurd. Btw which (if any) were scouted riders, randomly generated?
I also feel to stay fresh you need that new jersey B)

New scouted riders were:
Elshad Megamadov (Belarus) (the name made me hire him...) a useful climber in a year or two.
Ludovic Lawniczak a stage racer from france.
Jean-Francois Gormaz a time trialist.

Well actually, Belkov won't because he isn't riding the tour. It'll be an all french squad that does that.

It's not over. I will by the end of Langkawi have finished my jersey (i feel like i need to do that before i race any more races really.), and i have uni exams in real life, combined with a hectic social calender! (LOL!!!!) and a racing calender, i haven't had too much time recently. Dontcha worry, i won't be going anywhere soon.
On another note, if anyone wants to know where any riders are, i'd be happy to say.

Thanks Guido i take great pleasure from reading your stories, past and present, as well!
Cheers Smoothie!
After playing my first ever stage on Extreme, it's a little hard, to say the least...
Stage Four of the Tour of Langkawi.
To remind all, Sobal is currently lying 10th overall, but is unlikely to be able to remain in contention over the next two mountainous days, Martinez will pick up the lead once more, and hopefully be able to stick with some mountain goats to stay near the front end of the overall classification. With this being their first few days of racing however, their fitness is sadly lacking, and having a shortage of fuel for the long stage today doesnt help. With only one bottle being allowed, every single rider on Auber Beltelecom would blow big time!
To show off the jersey, Jollet of course covered the first break, but the second he went the pack picked up the pace, and brought him back.
Of course, once Jollet was in the fold, 5 more riders attacked and the pack just didn't react. Jollet obviously is the surprising GC threat.
The break of 11 would manage to get a 8 minute lead before the pack starting hammering down a wicked pace.
As the pack gobbles up the blown breakaway riders on the climb's slopes, Jollet goes out the back door, and Casar was the first threat to really put the hammer down. Blowing Minard and Galland away as well.
As Martinez attempted to counter some other riders, Sobal soon had had enough and let go of the 21 rider strong peloton.
Martinez wouldn't last for long either, and was caught by the pack with just 1km to go. Even the devil himself couldn't make Yannick go faster.
Up front, Joly had overtaken Casar to claim victory, and surely the GC lead?

The new jersey isn't done yet. I couldn't come up with anything, so Smoothie will be creating a master piece for me
It'll be ready in a week or so, just in time with Uni finishing...
