Yeah he does, It's just his sense of humour.
There's no point slapping a schleck - Sean Kelly on "Who needs a slap"

He definetely said that. But the other commentator, the guy with the northern parts of great britain-accent, is even worse. I hate listening to that guy. |

Its funny because the people that have listened to Versus or Universal Sports, and then hear the Eurosport guys for the first time, think "what have I been listening to my entire life"

He might sound boring, but he's better than Kirby in general cycling knowledge, how can he come up with this shit so much time and again and again
It's Sean Kelly btw One of the best cyclist that there ever was.

Haha, correct. I prefer Phil Liggett if it's english and Rolf Sørensen, the former cyclist, and Dennis Ritter if it's Danish. Great coverage. |

It was Brian Smith not Sean Kelly today for the presentation along with Carlton Kirby. I like Smith, but Kirby is awful. He read out the names of all the OPQS riders today when GreenEdge came on and started talking about them because he thought that's who it was. I can't believe this guy has a job in commentary |

He is normally a rally commentator I believe. If he is on then I always mute my television and follow a race ticker. Magnus Backstedt and Sean Kelly are incredible though, and often quite funny, Brian Smith is always quite sensible and David Harmon knows what he is talking about (and genuinely loves the sport) which is always exactly what a commentator needs. Carlton Kirby possesses none of these qualities.
Unfortunately Australians are stuck with Sherwin and Liggett every year for the TDF, men stuck a decade in the past and obsessed with American riders.

Voeckler will be working for Rolland.
Monfort won't work as hard as last year and says top 15 is possible, he isn't sure whether that suffices for the team, though.

Monfort could easily turn into the team leader, as i dont believe in Kloden a nd Horner and Frank is not in the best form according to his words. I can see Monfort doing around places 10-15.

If he were to be leader, he definitely would ride top 15. I hope they realize it over there at RSNT. |
