Stage 4
Waregem - Compigne
Sprinters..sprinters. I have good to notice that McEwen form getting better and better every day...after tour I had very pessimistic thought's about he's green jersey winning plans. Today it looks much better..I some how dont affraid Boonen. Freire is more dangerous for me..
They all looking a place for spirnt..McEwen was happy that he was first man who joined..Lampre train..bad news is that Freire is just behind him. McEwen is 100% parasite sprinter..he dont wont he's own train. He is best to jump around and find perfect place..solo sprinter.
Boonen panic sprint open's the game..he notice that he is to much behind and starts he's sprint very early.
McEwen has no option is time to go..Freire follows..Casper. Can McEwen keep up.
this is Freire..close but clear win enough for mass sprint. McEwen can keep he's green, but Freire is after today very close.
That has been fun..every day new sprint winner. looks like green will be decided between Freire, McEwen , Boonen and Casper. Lets see..one of the sprinters will wear yellow before mountains and TT..Freire and Boonen has already in the striking distance..McEwen has 22sec. to take back. Btw. Klöden has sprinted every day..I realy hope this is gonna effect some how he's climbing

Stage 5
Villers-Cotterats - Joigny
Main speculation subject's for the day is..can McEwen keep the green..Boonen and Freire - if one them is succesful today..they will be rewarded by yellow.
Surprise atack..there is 60km. to go..when Leon Sanchez, Contador and Kohl atacks..this is strange. They have to check they race map again..today this is flat all the way.
Now lets prepeare for the mass sprint..last few stages McEwen is like positioning genius. He has lately just picket fastest train. Today he trys, another tactics because he is marked man...defence today. he stays just behind Freire and Boonen.
And last minut change ..he follows Förster. Now he is almost side by side with Boonen and Freire.
Sprint..when Boonen starts he's final speed burst..McEwen jumped out of Gerolsteiner Duo wheel, and makes he's own move.
Here they come out of the last corner..McEwen already leads. Can he keep he's lead this time?
Yes he does..second stage win..and he is already close to be one of the tour stars. Freire has problems with find a good place to start he's sprint..when he sprint's he is fastest at the all group..but when he start's to behind..there is no hope for him. Why he dont use he's team mates like Brown and Heeswijk..who has had so far tourist riding
terrible news for lampre fans. Cunego is out of the tour..there wasnt any reports at he's crashing. Maybe he isnt recovered after Giro and feel reasnoble to step down before mountains.
McEwen has +2sec. to Klöden in GC..tomorrow stage is perfect for Freire...Mcewen will meet he's first difficulty..first small hills
But what a moment for sponsors Predictor-Lotto riders 2,3,4

Thank you.. Robbie is now close at he's absolute top form...he is kick ass sprinter after all that trouble wich i had with him at spring..-
very strange race choices..
Low moral.. etc. But I have to say now sry. Robbie you was right.. (at least I let him start with Giro).
Also I feel a little bad..that Zabel has injured himself just before the tour..

Stage 6
Chablis - Autun
Hardest sprint stage for McEwen so far...I have to make shure that he has enough helpers to go over those hill's to final sprint. Perfect stage for main opponent Freire and also so far quite medium result sprinter Davis.
Replay for yesterday ..Kohl, Contador and Leon Sanchez atacked today also and exactly same point 60km. to go mark.
McEwen is fighting..he is in difficulty. 4 riders protecting him.
Last downhill section before the sprint Arvesen and Haussler..trying to sneak away. McEwen find's Freire backwheel...He has to be greatful for he's team mates..who hekped him over the hills and also drag him to great sprint position. Klöden is also very activ today..he want to keep he's yellow..already 3 sprinters has chanches today take it over.
Sprint..Haussler got solid lead..look at Klöden he wants to keep yellow. Freire, Boonen, McEwen and Davis first time in action.
Haussler win's he's first stage at TdF. Freire..second..McEwen is so tyred today..but third and surprise..he takes a yellow. Rodriquez great 4th. place.
