According to Gesinks twitter, Hoogerland was very hungry after an easy trainingsride:

Like Wyman says, I believe Joaquim Rodriguez has a shot too. This guy is so consistent in hilly races yet never seems to win, maybe tomorrow is his day, if he doesn't jump prematurly (a problem men mostly have ) |

Thinking my country Norway has very little chance tomorrow, maybe Arvesen or Nordhaug can get top 30. The course is too hard for Hushovd and Boasson Hagen
If it's too hard for Boasson, it's too hard for Nordhaug. Arvesen og Boasson has the best chances, however Arvesen is too kind for beeing a captain.

Well, i had some doubts, but this is the course!
I had already bet in some not great climbers like Gilbert (hope he is in super form and can hold), will have to review that. Still the u23 race can be very different to elites, last year was a bunch sprint.
How this puts things to Fabian? he's surprisingly very thin but makes me doubt more, i had him on the top favorites. |

IMO it's Spain vs Italy.
Lap 1 - Some random nations start a break
then it's Spain vs Italy in the final with Cancellara trying something for Swiss pride.

Yep, as always, wouldn't mind seeing the Italian streak broken though.
About Denmark, then I'm anticipating a flop here. I just think the route is too hard for Breschel, he can't follow the guys who'll attack on Acque Fresca - not even nearly. Chris Sørensen and Fuglsang don't really stand a chance either, the way I see it. Chris doesn't have the explosiveness, and I think Fuglsang is beat after having raced A LOT this season.
Don't hesitate to prove me wrong though...

I expect Chris to end between 20 and 10. He will irde his own pace over the hills, and he has proven before that is still good even when the length goes up to 250.

Either way: If any of the Danish commentators mention Breschel as a favourite tomorrow, I'll stop watching and find a stream with better commentators. |

If it's Rolf Sørensen, you will have to stop after 5 seconds. Then he'll aldready has mention his name 5 times! xD |

You are forgetting the time he uses on telling everyone it was on a course like this he could have won.

Matti Breschel can go well tomorrow.. He has a chance for medal. But perhaps after all the circuit is too difficult for him. We will see tomorrow
