Horner out of the Vuelta after that crash today, something with his wrist.
He just published his blog. Says he's fine and nothing's broken.
According to the paper he's blogging with, he did break his wrist and is out. You are probably reading his post yesterday (he crashed in that stage too).

Fuglsang:
"We were riding close to protect me from the wind and I was the last rider on the range. I kept shouting to the others that they should pull to the left. Suddenly, the riders at the front make a right turn, so I was pushed into a truck on the side of the road. My left tibia was cut clean open by a spoke. A clean cut but it reaches to the bone which means that I later tonight will be having stitches. Paradoxically, I am sore on my right side which I landed on. It has otherwise been some good days where we have been able to be at the very forefront and control the race. But after the crash today, I am happy that tomorrow's rest day can actually be used to heal the wounds”, said Jakob Fuglsang after the fourth stage. |

How on earth can this be right:
Stageresult:
119 Roman Kreuziger (Cze) Liquigas 0:03:58
GC:
7 Roman Kreuziger (Cze) Liquigas 0:00:17 |

Astana’s Alexander Vinokourov was bleeding on his right leg and was receiving stitches from a team doctor, telling VeloNews: “I crashed pretty hard, but I will be able to keep going.”

If that means he's going to get caught for blood doping, then ok |

Both Kiserlovski and Vigano are quite likely to abandon during the rest day. Kiserlovski has broken his collarbone, Vigano has some problems with his left elbow. |

Oh alright, didn't see the stage so it just appeared really strange to me...
So Fuglsang didn't lose any time either? |

I certantly dont hope so. Vino is a fighter, he dont care a bout a few stitches. I think it would be a much greater risk for Vino to dope now just after his comeback. I think he learned his leasson. |

if you look closely at the crash. you could see one rider suddenly slowing causing the crashdown.
who was he?

Yea, 3km rule, otherwise all GC contenders would have lost time, Cancellara, A/F Schleck came in 5 min behind.

whoever was protecting Borut Bozic from Vacansoleil. the comentator at https://www.channelsurfing.net/watch-l...spana.html said Leukemans
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

Vino is injured, Viganò is seriously injured, Gustavo Domínguez has a dead leg (he's the Xacobeo guy we all saw on TV not being able to pedal) and Kiserlovski has a broken collarbone.
Kessiakoff has a broken collarbone.
I was very worried about the stages in Holland, because the roads there are designed for grandmas riding their bikes at 10kph, not for a modern race - Columbia DS Brian Holm

and Gustavo Veloso has a deep cut on his leg too. Both of the best named riders in the international peloton () are injured
and Xacobeo is ruined at this point of the race.

Wow the crash in today's stage has nearly forced half of the peloton out with a serious injury, i have never seen a crash like that ever in the history I have been watching cycling. It was like a war zone. |
