Impresive by a neo pro to ride all the big classics, lets hope it doesn't worn him out.
Can someone please explain to me how a skinny climber on his first pro season finishes Roubaixm, let alone finish between Devolder and Burghardt?
First rider from his country to ever finish Roubaix inside the time limit.
WTF
EDIT: And congrats to Brent Bookwalter. Other than the very experienced Moos, he was the only BMC to finish

Also, applause for Chavanel, and many others.
Honorable mention for Guesdon. 13th at 58 years old (or something) |

How the hell did Rui Costa manage to finish ahead of guys like Burghardt, Langeveld, Maaskant in his first PR and, more impressively, being a climber?

I would assume that the 3 you mention encountered incidents during the race and so they effectively gave up going for the win and settled for just riding to the finish. |

58? wow
Anyway i've been saying all season so far that Chavanel is having a good season. Lefevre thinks he's the best 2009 signing by any team this year.

Well, yes, I assumed so. But still, he didn't have anything to prove either. First season, no pressure by the team for this race, not even his speciality.

This being Lefévère, he wouldn't admit it even if Haussler was Eddy Merckx and Chavanel was Massimiliano Mori...

Hi, guys, I've just arrived. I was reading the comments. This forum was crazy indeed. Besides those stupid opinions about the crash, I found a lot of remarks about Boonen's luck. And I'm not a Boonen's fan. Actually, I find he is the king of excuses when he doesn't win. But today he has incredible. He didn't win because of his team, he didn't win because somebody crashed (he did crash and flat, by the way); he won because he was the best. Simply as that. You could see him always at the front in the decisive moments, pushing, making the race even harder. So not, that wasn't luck. Luck would have been hadn't he won (was that phrase ok? my english sucks), and it would have been extreme luck for the winner then.
